Freaking KITT? You gotta be kidding me!
Yes! It's a gimmick product. Yes, It's about $20 dollars more than a regular Mio GPS. Yes, the novelty wears off... eventually.
BUT! IT'S FREAKING KITT!
Look. You buys items like these because of of it's nostalgic value. Now that we're adults and have (hopefully) more disposable income than when we were 12, when the show originally aired we can afford to purchase crap like this.
The bare facts are, it's a decent entry level GPS. Easy to use, concise and fast solid product. The fact that it comes in Knight Rider black with LEDs that sync to the ORIGINAL voice actor for KITT is just icing.
Go. Get yourselves one. Right now.
I'm hoping that enough people purchase these that a patch will be made to get "KITT" to say some witty sarcastic comment whenever you miss a turn.
