the songs on it are alot fresher than their newer stuff, they have clarity in the songs and way rockin beats. There is none of the drownnnning sound that the newer songs have they are more rock and less emo in this album!

I don't usually listen to this style of music, but since I am a huge Linkin Park fan I had to buy this CD. LP did such a great job with this CD that it made me like this lighter side of rock. I do, still, miss their old styles from Meteora and Hybrid Theory.

Just what my sister wantedI got this as a present for my sister. She had asked for the edited version specifically and was everything she had hoped for. She really loves the music and loves that it is edited. It has some of her favorite songs on it.

Obviously EditedI purposely purchased the 'edited' version of this cd due to several f.. words on the song previews... Unfortunately it seems to be sloppily edited, with obvious breaks in the song for my teenage son to fill in the blanks on his own. Still, great music so he enjoys it.

It's not your typical Linkin Park 'metal,' but it's great. Most reviews put this cd as 'okay,' but I just can't turn it off. Sure, it's a little slower than either Meteora or Hybrid Theory, but some of its songs, including but not limited to "The Little Things Give You Away," "Shadow of the Day," and "What I've Done" truly set it apart from anything they've done to date. They utilize momentum in many of their songs, as each comes to a crescendo that is nothing short of adrenaline pumping. It gets an A in my book and will remain one of my favorite purchases that I have ever made.

It isn't the same linkin park we have always known. something is different and the only real good song is What I've Done.
