Acoustic Tull
"Minstrel in the Gallery" is probably the most acoustic of any of Jethro Tull's many releases, and to me, possibly their most satisfying. The first side is medieval in flavor and the second is more reflective in nature. Ian Anderson's voice shows a wide range of emotions, at times rhapsodic, as in the gorgeous (and too short) One White Duck and the evocative Requiem, sometimes sardonic even sarcastic as the mood requires, it is one of Ian Anderson's most reflective works and the band plays masterfully as can be expected. This is a true "must have" for any music lover.
