I've never bought this vacuum, but the folks at Ebay asked me to write a review, so I thought what the heck?! Personally, I would never buy this vacuum, and I haven't, because I have no need for it. It may or may not be a good vacuum, I'm not sure. It looks like a quality vacuum, however I am not knowledgeable about vacuums of this sort so I couldn't tell you. I hope this is helpful to prospective buyers. Thanks!

) This is the best vacuum I've ever owned! I have had other Riccar vacs, but the 8955 one is the best! I have the 8955, but want to purchase a second one to give my son who is moving out.

after looking into many vacuums i knew what i did not want, and i came across the 8900 vacuum which had the most favorable ammenities that i was looking for,so when i ran across the product on e-bay for a affortable price i jumped on the chance-----and consequently my wife loves the performance and simplicity of the vacuum.
