Pamela really knows how to put together a book that is useful, educational and well documented. The photo plates are well done, sharp, and not so tiny as to make the jewelry look blurry. She gives great history and background on the pieces she features. I also like her attitude toward pricing, it is just a guide, not set in stone. All collectors know that guidebooks are usually wrong as to open market value. We come to ebay to find what a piece is selling for. It is like following the stock market. Pamela Caunt has actually written 3 books on British Military Sweethearts. I have them all and would be completely lost without them. If you have any thought as to collecting them, get these books.
