Miken MSRMA Recoil 250 Slow Pitch Softball Bat

I got to test this bat (ASA) in 2008 along with its sibling the 180(ASA). The bat had about 50 solid hits on it and a great sweet spot. The 250 has the stiffer handle meant for a power swinger and since thats the way I liked it, it was a great bat for me. Alot of distance and solid contact, though I have never been a fan of the longer barrels, it really held its own. I rated it good only because I don't believe it was better then the freak 98. Since all 98 mph bats are close to the same in performance, it eventually comes down to cost and durability. At the time, I don't believe it justified its 299.00 price tag, when you could get the Freak 98 for half the cost. Now days(2009), they are more comparable in price and you can probably pick one up for around the same price.
