Miken MSRFA Recoil 180 Flex Slow Pitch Softball Bat

I tested one of these, along with its sibling - the 250, both ASA and both with about 50 solid hits. At the time, I was still using a power swing, pushing everything I had into the ball at contact. It does not work for this particular bat, the swing should be much smoother and consistant - like swinging a Hybrid two piece bat. Some of the others guys there were hitting monster bombs, so I truely believe it to be a bat that can help the person with slower bat speed. May level out the playing field so to speak. The sweet spot was great, as for durability, didn't have it long enough to tell. However, since it is a one piece design, it seems safe to say that it would outlast a two-piece bat under the same circustances. Cost has come down some also, so it is definately an option. I give this one a five and the 250 a four, simply because the 180 is a different type of bat and I compare the 250 with the Freak 98 - which I consider superior.
