Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! (Nintendo)

One of the best games I've ever played. I can always throw this one in when I get bored and have a good time. A true timeless classic that spans the generations. Amazing game.

The best original nes game ever, brings back all the good memories of when my best friends and i used to sit around the tv, blowing on nes games trying to get them to work, and ushering in the modern era of console gaming. mike tyson's punch out still stands the test of time and is still a whole lot of fun to play, its relatively simple gameplay is balanced by increasing levels of difficulty, and still gives a sense of a heard earned win when you finally beat tyson. Also only two buttons to push is a breath of fresh air when compared to the 8-10 button highly complex modern games today, allowing for a more relaxed and fun gaming experience.

I liked the game twenty years ago and I still like it. That is why I bought it. The game was revolutionary at the time it came out in 1987.

this was the first really boxing title that pave the way. I remember all the fighters from KIng hippo, bald bull, crazy tiger, and no to forget mike tyson. It's a great game if you have a party and hook up your nes.

the game didnt work so i cant even tell you if i liked it and i dont really know how i could have returned it to get my money back to buy something else this is the kind of thing that makes me reluctant to purchace future items from ebay because i feel like you really dont know what you are getting and if you get something you didnt like or expect you are kind of just stuck with it if there is information that would clear that up for me please let me know

the only problem we had was that the game needed a few love taps/blows into the game...know how the old systems you have to 'blow the dust out' haha...but it works great other than that!! we LOVE it!! thank you sooo much!!! great price too!

This is a great boxing game for Nintendo NES. It is not very complex. You try to win matches against all the opponents and become the champion. The cool part is that all your opponents have a different specialty move, so you have to learn something new about each person you face. Amazing game! Buy it.

This game was definitely a top 3 fav among all kids growing up. I just recently bought another nintendo system and the first game I bought for it was this one. This game is a classic!!!

There is a strange appeal to seeing Mike Tyson on the screen of a video game before his criminal charges, ear biting and bankruptcy. The game is simple even for a NES game but it is still very fun.

For those of you that had an original Nintendo Entertainment System you remember Mike Tyson's Punch Out. In the days of cartoonish graphics this game had it all for not only the Mike tyson fan but every gamer at the time!

It's hard to imagine but yes, at one time Mike Tyson was a sports icon. This would have been pre prison time and facial tattoo. This game sold a ton of copies due to the great gameplay and storyline. You play as Little Mac who looks like a 5 year old in the ring with these guys but with this little guy you could possibly defeat Mike Tyson!

Before the days of cheat codes and wireless boxing glove controllers was Mike Tyson's Punchout. If you haven't tried it before...it's a must! 10 of 10

This game is a classic old-school boxing game. Your the underdog little mac fighting your way to the top, just to take on mike tyson.This game has great re-play value because mike tyson is extremly hard to beat!

Anyways, assuming it is correct Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! is a port of the classic arcade game Punch-out!! All your favorites like Glass Joe, Piston Honda, Bald Bull, and Super Macho-Man are here. And if you make it past all them you get a chance to fight Tyson in the dream bout. The game is really fun and simple enough once you learn the tricks to get past each guy... that is until you get to Macho-Man, dodge his super spin punch and it's easy though... Tyson is another problem but can be beat... TIMING is everything in this game! Good Luck and Come out fighting!!

I love this game! I have been searching for it for a long time but couldn't find it. It has great graphics to be a nintendo game.

Mike Tyson's punchout is one of the best sports games ever made. It's such a classic that in my mind it ranks right up there with the Mario's and Zelda's. I played the other day for the first time in years and the memories it brought back where classic.

I can remember playing it as a kid and thinking it was the greatest game of all time. When I hooked it up the other day it still has not lost much! If you have not played this game in years you NEED IT! The nostalgia and memories this game will bring back is well worth the price.

My personal favorite thing about the game is the advise between rounds! So buy the game and...... JOIN THE NINTENDO FUNCLUB TODAY MAC!

Still a fave 5 for me, even after 20 years! It's one of the few reasons to get an NES console, as it is one of the few NES games that are not enhanced on SNES & it is also not on any other system. Graphics, although 8 bit, are on par with a SNES game! Sound is not quite as good as SNES, but close! Gameplay & animations in this game are better than any other NES & that is what make this game so addictive! Its game levels start off super easy & wind up super hard at the end, which are trademarks of NES/SNES games & this feature also allows any gamer to be apart of the fun! Mike Tyson even looks alot like himself, which I must say, no other NES game even comes close. You don't even have to be a boxing fan at all to enjoy it and maybe that's why its so popular among others! You'll have to battle fighters with super punches, combos, tricky punches, KO punches, & you'll have to beat them with only 5 punches(only 1 super punch) in your arsenal. It has sort of a Rocky feel to it, as you, Little Mac, are much, much smaller than the men you have to fight.

Keys to beating Tyson: Get past the 1st round by quickly dodging his fast KO uppercuts & hitting him twice. After about 1:30, he will start to throw his med. speed jabs; dodge them & hit him twice as before. Strategy: you might decide to get him close & not knock him down in the first round; this will make it easier to TKO in the 2nd.

In the 2nd, you want to dodge his med. jabs & hit him whenever he misses; use punches to try & get pink occasionally, as he is even more predictable when you are pink. DO NOT TRY THIS IN ROUND 1 & AGAINST ANY OTHER FIGHTER. He will throw a med. speed jab & two fast, not KO uppercuts; he does the same thing everytime you get pink in the 2nd. Dodge these, until you change back & tag him everytime he misses. Also, when he continually blinks his eyes, if you time the punch right, then you'll knock him down; if not, you will get a star & you must be ready to block. You can land a star either as he misses a jab or as you are tagging him after any 2nd uppercut.

In the 3rd, his super unpredictability means that you'll have to be very good to make it out of this round; however, at the starting gate, when he goes down, & when you go down, he will IMEDIATELY throw a punch or series of punches. Dodge & tag him. If you get pink in the third round, don't panic; he'll do the same thing he did in round two; however, he is just way too unpredictable to use this as a tactic now! He also has this combo, which varies at times, that goes something like this: JAB, JAB, PAUSE, FAST UPPERCUTS(may use 1, 2, or 3 & either pause between them or speed up). To win, gain 5,000 pts. or TKO him. 4 times down & you're out!

It takes way more speed and timing to beat Tyson than anyone else & if you don't have them, you don't have any chance to beat him, period. So practice & concentrate!

Mike Tysons Punch Out is a classic game for the NES, fight through the ranks and take on Mike himself, but watch out he is tough. This is a fun game and is full of interesting characters who try and knock you out!

This is one of the greatest games of ALL time. Love games that are still hard to beat after 20 years.

I love how the game starts off by fighting weak and mostly goofy opponents then as you progress through the game the boxers get bigger and stronger. It requires good timing a lot of practice or a cheat code to get to Iron Mike Tyson . I have never beat Tyson nor do i know of anyone who has, Besides that the game is next to impossible to beat it is still a fun challenging addictive game. Get stars and press start or press the A button right when a opponent does a special attack and you will beat them over and over.

Some games were just ment to be in the Great Classic Hall of Fame! This is one of the greats. I don't even like Boxing and I enjoy playing this game. In this game there are some hidden secrets and I guess the fun is to find out what and where they are. Good Luck!
