Exploiting "The Devil's Avenger" for fun and profit
The seller of this product exploits the name Anton LaVey WITHIN THE TITLE OF THE LISTING, then snidely labels him a plagiarist. He was not, since the book was in public domain and LaVey lists Ragnar Redbeard right in the Acknowledgments, and also changed the wording sufficiently to make it his own, not unlike this seller, who changes the character by adding text and illustrations of questionable appropriateness. Redbeard was not promoting an Aryan philosophy; he was simply plucking the gray beard of the God totem and his followers at the time. It is infuriating when someone adapts an artist's creation to his own needs/biases and proffers it as the real -- "Original Text"-- thing. May the wrath of our Dark Lord befall THIS plagiarist for his temerity. This publisher has his own agenda. Do yourself a favor, and seek out the ACTUAL ORIGINAL TEXT.
