Midsomer Murders - Set 7 (DVD, 2006, 4-Disc Set)

Firstly, a word of warning to intending buyers. Several sellers who are advertising this regularly are using very misleading advertising. They state that there are 7 episodes in this series. They even give the names of the episodes. In fact, there are only 4 episodes as I fouind to my dismay when I queried why I had only received part of what I had ordered. The others which are names are actually in series 8. I complained about this to the seller from whom I bought my set but they took no responsibility for the error, blaming an advertising company for the mistake. I'm not impressed. Despite my complaint, they and other sellers are still using the same wording. Much as I enjoyed the four episodes that I did receive, I certainly would not have bought them and paid international postage has I known there were only 4 episodes.
Having got that off my chest, why have I given a rating of excellent? For my tastes, it is hard to beat top class British detective programmes and this certainly is top class. Good plots, well acted and set in a lovely part of England. I really like the warmth that shows between Barnaby and his wife. Watch how he glows when something good happens to Joyce. There are some excellent guest artists to support the regular team.
So, if you are happy with the value, you will enjoy the product.
