Clearly this series is 5 star! This is one of the most enjoyable British Mystery series ever created. All filmed on location in England, beautiful villages, homes, etc. Supberb acting too. The main actors are excellent, likeable, and believable. Clever mystery plots, great subplots. Never gory but always interesting. They will keep you guessing "who dunnit" till the end. (Many actors have now become quite famous...in one episode, not season 12 mind you Orlando Bloom is in it before his Lord of the Rings, Pirates of Caribean fame.)

English mysteries are always my favorites. They have more mystery
less gore with some humor mixed in. I have see all series of this
great set. This set has CC which has been missing from previous sets
and the quality of the film is much improved. Midsomer Murders ranks
right behind Foyle's way in my book of great English mystery. They seem
to do it on low budget with great actors and performances.
