This album will not change your life, it will enhance it. Funny/awkward makes it great and Beck's diversity sprinkles references to cheesy pick up lines and materialism, in what I believe to be homage and satire of the makin' love song industry.
Debra is hilarious, Sexx Laws and the other faster jams are just plain fun dance songs. Its pretty retro at this point in time (2006), but that doesn't mean it suxx. Beck's artpiece albums cover so much musical ground that I have to recommend his entire discography sans Mellow Gold - not sure on that one, but I haven't listened to it enough to judge.
Tip: he did some work on the nacho libre soundtrack - can't wait for that one.

Sea Change and Mutations are two of my all time favorite albums. Unfortunately, back has another side that rubs me the wrong way. You can find it here. I really tried listening with an open mind but all I got was an annoying headache. Stick with the alternative country. 2 Stars.
