Midnight Mass is another home run by Wilson. A modern day vampire tale set at the Jersey Shore and New York City. Father Joe, a fallen priest takes efforts to rid his parish of the undead with the help of a nun, a rabbi and his niece. Wilson imbues his characters with tenderness and compassion despite their flaws. You can't help but care about them in their battle of good vs evil. It's hard to put down. It grabs you at the beginning and doesn't let go. It's a well written, exciting, edge of your seat horror/thriller. This one left me wanting more!
