Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt (1999, Paperback, Reprint)

This is an interesting mystery. The cast is great--which includes Kevin Spacey and John Cusack. They do a superb job acting the parts. The scenes of Savannah add a special feeling to the film also.

The book was delivered in a timely manner. I was very pleased with this seller. I would buy from them again.

The book was chosen by my bookclub. It was very slow getting started and slow to be interesting. About halfway into the book the story picked up and became a pageturner. I finished the book, but it was not one of my favorites.

This book was very slow moving and while the story that it was telling was an intriguing one. There were numerous points in the book where I wanted the author to just get to the point. The characters were made to come to life, but though the reader knew them after well written introductions, the writer continued to try to make them life-like instead of letting the story carry the characters.

What a scandously, naughty book!!! I loved this novel for it's tongue-in-cheek humor & outlandish characters!!! It was an extremely difficult book to put down once I started reading it. It is a definate book that you will want to read over & over!!!

I felt as though I were actually in Savannah, even though I've never been there. I enjoyed the story of the main character and the other characters.

By the way, the movie does not do the book justice at all.

What can I say about the book but that it is a great read but the book came to me dirty with blood stains on some pages. People should not be allowed to sell this quality of merchandise especially when they say it is in good condition or better.
