Midnight Embrace by Amanda Ashley (2002, Paperback)

I enjoyed this very much. Can't wait to read more. I have read almost all of her books as well as Madeline Baker's. I am really fascinated with Indian romance and folk lore. It's a great way to escape for a little while.

This book, just like the rest of Amanda Ashley books is mesmerizing. You start reading, and can't stop. If you like to read paranormal/vampire romance..this is a must read..she gets better with every book she writes! Lori

I loved this book. It was filled with so much romance & emotion. You could feel the character's every emotion. It was about a 400 yr old vampire & a 17 yr old girl set back in the early 1800's. He sees this girl that stirs something inside him. A feeling that he had long forgotten. She was poverty stricken & her family had died from an epidemic. He took her in & gave her everything her heart desired. She didn't fall in love with him right away. But found herself drawn to his mystrious & sensual ways. They quickly fall for each other's hearts. It was such a wonderful book. It made me remember what romance & true love really is. It does have sex in it. But it is not terribly graphic.
