Midnight Club: Street Racing (PlayStation 2, 2000)

If you like Need for Speed your bound to like this game. It has a bit of a different twist on it. You must hit the markers in the race if you don't then well...your screwed. Its a lot fo fun. You can't do as much to your car as if N4S but it's still just as fun to do. A must have game for any racer fan.

Sons LOVE the game!! Great racing and graphics. Seller preferred on Ebay! Game came in record time and in beautiful condition. Would definitely do business with again! Always looking for great deals on new games.

...but Midnight Club is still a great game. I think this was the first game of it's kind on the PS2 and the graphics, gameplay, and fun still live up to today's standards.

Great racing game!!! Many sweeeeet rides to choose from!!! My boys love this one! They recently got a brand new ps2 system as a gift and we needed to get some good games!!! They can race alone or both at the same time (1 to 2 player game)!!!

I loved everything about it! It was a gift. You get to pick the type of car you drive by brand, and race on different real raceways. I loved the music too!

Greta Racing Game, Good Racing Challages, Some Free Roam, But Graphics Are Very Bad. The Graphics Wont Keep You From Playing It

We dislike this game for one that ir arrived scratched and unableto play in our PS2. For another reason we dislke this game is that we bought for an 8 year old boy and it is way to avanced for him. Maybe a teen or adult should be playing this game. My husband who is an engineer could not even figure this game out.

Midnight Club: Street Racing takes the basic concepts and modes that made Midtown Madness so much fun and adds to it more hidden vehicles and a rudimentary plotline.


The plotline is as simple as it is unnecessary. You, as a New York City cabdriver, need a little spice in your life. One night, while driving around aimlessly, you happen upon Emilio, a low-rider driving chump with a turtleneck sweater and an accent that bounces between Latino and Italian. After showing that you can keep up with Emilio's ride, he introduces you to Midnight Club, a secret organization of late-night street racers. From there, you cruise the city, looking for trouble in the form of hookmen. These hookmen are visible on your map. Once you get behind them, you'll have to keep up with them until they feel that you're worthy of a race. The hookmen races pit you against that driver's entire posse. But calling up one of the hookmen on your handy cell phone puts you in a one-on-one race. When you win the race, you add the opponent's car to your garage. Most of the races are checkpoint races, mean you can go just about any direction you like, as long as you hit all the checkpoints and get to the finish line before the opposition. While you're given an insane amount of freedom in the races, there are usually only two or three viable paths to success. Eventually, your Midnight Club exploits lead you to London. Both cities are extremely large and full of life. Aside from the main career mode an arcade mode, which lets you set up head-to-head, checkpoint, and two-player races. There's also a capture the flag mode, which lets you play against another person or against computer opponents. The two-player splitscreen mode introduces a bit more pop-up into the equation, but it's still very playable.

WHEN I RECIEVED THIS GAME IT UNFORTUNATLY DID NOT WORK....BUT WHEN I CONTACTED THE SELLER HE WAS EXTREMLY APOLOGETIC AND I HAD A REFUND THE NEXT DAY AND HE SENT OUT A REPLACEMENT GAME FREE OF CHARGE!!!! AN EXCELLENT SELLER AND WOULD DO BUSINESS WITH AGAIN !

Good condition but did not work in are PS2.Flipping the game over, we now see that it is one of the "blue-backed" games, which notoriously have had issues playing in the majority of PS2s. Selling other PS2 games, we would strongly recommend that you let people know if any of the games have a blue back, so that there are no similar problems.

great game and in great shape it is for any age and it was bought as a easter gift for my son it is a fun and great game

the grafics the cars you have to choose from are the best and it keeps getting better with the next midnight club there just stepping it up a noch and keeping ya into there games.

This game is definitely lame when compared to the new versions of Midnight Club.
I have to drink an energy drink to stay awake to play it.

the game was everything that it was lead to be, and everything i expected. I will definately consider shopping from this ebayer again.

What i do not like about this game is the racers you need to race are kinda hard to catch. You start off with a really slow car and yet you are suppose to catch up with the others , in my opinion hard but i guees if you like challenge then this the game for you.

I like this game alot and very adventurous with alot of action in it. I wanted the game cause i wanted something different from the other racing game i got. I really enjoy this has alot of challenges in it.
