Don't buy it!!!!

This game is absolutely terrible! Its sole purpose was to get PS2's best selling game to hit the handheld set, and the only handheld system availible at the time was GBA. The end result is noting short of disastrous. The cars do not blend with the environment, the dialogue is pathetic and the overhead view is quite possibly the worst way to present a "racing game". You chase cars around in your cab for like 10 minutes waiting for them to "approve" of you, then racing them (and several other weirdoes with the same car) through an incredibly twisted path of flags that you don't know how to find. What a waste of time! What makes matters worse is every other racer knows the path second nature, so you have to redo the race multiple times just until you get it right. And when you finally win, you only get that one car you spent so much time chasing! At that point you are so sick and tired of seeing that car that you don't even want to choose to play as it. The game saves on a lame password system that only presents you with a new password about every 3-6 hours of play time. And why play for that long anyway when its so boring? You might as well look online for the cheats just to see if the unlockable content is worth it. And trust me, it's NOT. What I really don't get is the overhead view. This is a racing game, not The Legend of Zelda with cars! There is already proof as shown by games like Lego Racers and Mario Kart: Super Circuit that GBA is perfectly capable of 3D racing graphics. These graphics are primitive, maybe, but 100 times better than this! This game is the reason why PSP came out. Now maybe Sony can actually make a good game without the fear of having to put it on Nintendo's system.
I'd give this game a -2/5 if it was possible. I wouldn't take something so boring and frustrating if they paid me to play it.
