One of the features I liked most was the car adapter with the external antenna adapter. Since with the original antenna it has a very restricted range once you place an external antenna to it it becomes a normal CB radio with the advantage that it can be taken with you anyware. One of the disadvantages that make it get a 4 out of 5 score is that it has no Noise atenuation or Noise Blanker, wich in a mobile radio are very usefull. You can modify this radio easy and get 120 chanels. I would buy it again if I needed a handheld CB Hope this helps .... Review ID: 10000000001883123 Was this review helpful? I like the car adapter with the extenal antenna adapter that makes the radio range nice and clear. The channels on the radio are easy to read. The weather feature is great to get current weather conditions on the road. The compact feature is small enough that the radio will fit inside a cup holder, and it will not bounce around. This is a great handheld radio, and I would highly recommend this radio to take along in all your vechicles, as I do. Review ID: 10000000002841403 Was this review helpful? I bought it for my Road Capt. rides, It's good for small groups, but when you get about 40 to 50 bikes spread out, you can't hear tail gunner. Review ID: 10000000007931391 Was this review helpful? Camping, hiking, hunting and at sporting events. It's cool feature is that it can be used to listen to NOAA weather forecast. It is a powerful little handheld that has features some big radios don't have such as the memory channels. The mobile hookup attachment to use in a vehicle with a mounted antenna is a slick feature. I'd recommend this radio to anyone that loves the outdoors and likes staying in touch with the group-family and friends while on a outing. For the reasonable prices these radios are selling at they are worth the money spent. Buy one or two it'll be worth it! Review ID: 10000000007924325 Was this review helpful? It is a great radio for use on a motorcycle, it ties in with our intercom system (ST-1 by Motocom), a bit of a hassel with the cables but the radio does work very will. The radio is tied into the bike via the 12v power and an antennas mounted on the sissybar. Review ID: 10000000007832084 Was this review helpful? Report this review |
