The Mid Atlantic Air Museum's prize-winning B-25J Mitchell, 'Briefing Time', has been faithfully replicated as an add-on package for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 (also compatible with FS 2002) by the award-winning MAAM-SIM Team designers. The aircraft's exterior and interior feature photo-realistic textures derived from thousands of digital photographs. The stereo sounds of the mighty Wright Double-Cyclones were recorded in the real plane, and 'BT's flight performance has been painstakingly reproduced in the simulation's flight model so you can fly her to the numbers. The checklists, and the reference and specification pages are extremely detailed, covering every phase of flight in both normal and emergency operations.

Extreme Photo-Realism throughout aircraft exteriors, 2D panels, gauges, and the virtual cabin have all been textured using bitmaps created from thousands of high-resolution digital photos of the original aircraft.

NEW: The "strafer" version of the J-model was widely used in the Pacific theater where it's 14 forward-firing .50 caliber machine guns proved devastating to Japanese shipping and ground targets. This ship flew with the 489th Bombardment Squadron "Falcons", 345th Bombardment Group "Air Apaches".

Photo-Real Views… Eight photo real views co-exist with the 3D VC... as never before. Your views will include “the best seat in the house” in the bombardier’s compartment, looking aft from the top turret between the Mitchell’s twin tails; to the rear-quarters from the waist gunner’s station over the Browning M-2 .50 cal. machine gun; plus the forward-quarter and lateral views from the pilot’s seat.
True-to-the-Original-Aircraft Flight Dynamics… Under the guidance of MAAM President and Chief Pilot, Russ Strine, the flight model of Briefing Time was created to duplicate the real performance and handling characteristics of the B-25J as closely as is possible in a desktop simulator. It’s so close, in fact, that we recommend you obtain the real B-25 flight manuals offered by MAAM on its B-25 Briefing Time Multi-Media CD and fly her to the real numbers.
Real Checklists and Extensive Reference Pages assist you in flying. Full set of both normal and emergency operations checklists, and the reference pages on the kneeboard contain a wealth of information covering all flight operations. All of these have been taken from the real manuals.
Accurate Flight Controls and Gauges, programmed to mimic their real-world counterparts exactly and to work in conjunction with the accurate flight model.
Sound Suite Recorded Live Aboard Briefing Time. All engine, cockpit environment, and other flight sounds were digitally recorded aboard and outside in flight and on the ground.
Features animations that include all control surfaces, cowl flaps, landing gear and doors, bomb bay doors, crew entrance hatch and stairs, and the pilot’s window. The pilot will even give you a jaunty “thumbs up” as he slides the window closed.
