Microsoft Xbox - 8 GB Black

The xbox, now fairly outdated, has been my favorite console to own. Simply put, it is superior to the PlayStation 2. It's funny because when it first came out, I was opposed to it, then played with one for a while, and later bought two of them.

The Good
Simply put, Sony no longer holds the video game industry standard any more. Even with the release of the PS3, I feel that they've pretty much failed to evolve from the 360 enough (even with their extra year). Anyway, games games games! Very few games that are available for the PS2 are not avaiable for xbox. Some key games for xbox being, Halo, Halo 2, Doom3, Resurection of Evil, and hit titles like that.
Xbox Live:
Simply put, the best and only (until now) live gaming comunity. Simply put, Microsoft will probly hold onto this subdivision with their life, so plenty can be expected...


The Bad
None of these are severe issues, just something that should be noticed.
The xbox is big and heavey, but if you don't plan to move it a lot it's fine.
The controllers are big and bulky- while the first gen are just way too huge. The seccond gen controllers are way better than the PS2 controllers, I recently played on a PS2 after a long while and the PS2 controllers felt flimsy and cheap. Plus they were very small to hold confortably...
xbox Live costs money? Sorry, but im not into monthly/yearly payments, i have enough already.

Overall, the xbox is a much better choice than the PS2, however I'd go for the 360 now days, unless you want it CHEAP!
