Look out parents. This is addictive. It's the heroin of arcade play stations for home ESPECIALLY if played on line. You must assure your kids are doing WELL in school because this little doo - dad is detremental to an elementary students study - HW time. I don't mean to rain on parades, but this is a school teachers nightmare (-: On the other hand, dicipline: cutting a kid off this is a hell of a punishment. It will WORK!

OK, the system is wonderful. It's got kick @$$ graphics, memory and games to keep all well occupied. i don't mind my son's love for it. At 11, he really don't like sports and is not into much entertainment. He is intravert and this is up his alley. YES he does well in school (-:

Get the Xbox 360. If you want the adapter antenna for the inter net, get that at radio shack for a good deal or right here on ebay. The ELITE I believe comes with it (for $100 more) 360 offers play w/o the internet involvement, but that's what the KIDS LOVE!!

Also watch what the kids do!!!! They may end up talking and playing with Strangers (looney birds) in other states. My son's friend had someone in another state befriending him and trying to get 'personal informnation' out of him. (IMAGINE THAT!!!) Well, the 'gent' was reported.

Hey, all things in life are great and can have their down falls. This is wonderful but just use commen sence and curiosity when playing.

$400 is a fair price on the open market. Cheaper on Ebay... GET IT!!! (-:
