Microbiology by Robert W. Bauman Jr. (2006, Package)

I thought I was purchasing Microbiology with Diseases by Taxonomy (2nd Edition)written by Robert W. Bauman. I made sure to look very closely at the picture and the words on the book.

I did not get the book I ordered, but a different book written by Robert W. Bauman. Microbiology with Diseases by Body System (2nd Ed.) Not what I paid for.

The content and pages are different and when I asked my prof. if I can still use it he said, "You can, but it will be much more difficult to find the content".

Exactly what I needed and was looking for. Needed the book for school and found it. There isn't much else to say other than I received a product that I needed for school and it has been of great use to me.

What I like about the book is it is the exact same as the book you would get at the bookstore. The only difference is the cover, it is a soft cover and looks a little different. But the information is the same, same pages, everything. I like that it is a lot cheaper than the one you would buy at the bookstore. I decided to buy the book because it was cheaper. I would recommend this book to anyone.

I purchased this textbook, because it was required for a Microbiology class I was taking for a nursing program.

This is a great textbook for college students, especially those in allied medical fields. The well-organized book delves deeply into all essential areas of microbiology. But the writing style is engaging and interesting - the author has done a great job of trying to make a 'boring' topic relevant. The color drawings and photos in the book are superb and really help clarify concepts. Chapter summaries and practice quizzes help reinforce the material in each unit. I highly recommended this text over many others that I have seen in bookstores.

Note: I bought the paperback cover "2nd International Edition 2007," ISBN 0321396227. The content is the same as the hardcover version ISBN 080537678X, but for about half the price.

Shipped fast, was in excellent condition, I would definitely would buy something from them again. One thing though I would say that they don't ship to Po boxes because I had a little problem with the delivery times and such, but other than that it was great.

The book was in great condition....a brand new book. I needed the book for my Medical Microbio class and I received the book fairly quickly. Although, it is the International Edition it has the same exact information as the American Edition and it follows the same chapters as well.

I was very happy with the book, I liked the facted that it was new. Another thing I didn't like was that it had a different cover page. But over all I liked the book, thats why I lefted a rating of excellent.

I bought this book for class. It was exactly as described and came on time. The book was in good condition. I wish I could say more about it, but it wasn't exactly purchased for pleasure. Its a fairly easy read as texbooks go.

This textbook is very easy to use. I had to have this book for my upcoming semester and tried to find it on ebay, and there it was. I have been using the book for three weeks now and, for the most part, understand what Mr. Bauman, the author, is speaking of. Occasionally, he talks above my head, about once a chapter. The book flows and has great detail for, what can be, the confusing parts. This book is a great purchase for anyone going into the medical field, the biology field, or someone who just wants to learn about microbes.

The Textbook is exactly the same as the US version for less than half the price. I recommend if you're in the Health care system, and take this class, save yourself some cash. People working in the medical arena should be keeping the text anyway. I received the item in a couple of days. I'll be buying more textbooks from them. I have not used the CD but did use the online code and that did work just fine.

The book works fine however not what was advetised and says that it is illeage to be sold in the us, international copy. I had to buy it because class was starting soon and needed my textbook.

I expected to get a hardback textbook - which was promised. I received a paperback. It is an "international edition", not something mentioned in the ad. It had a CD-Rom included but it does not work. Very disappointed. Would not buy anything from this seller again. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!
