Mickey (DVD, 2005)

Excellent movie. One the entire family can watch and enjoy. The characters were very believable. The story was well written and made the movie believable and easy to follow. I enjoyed every minute and passed it on to my daughter and grand children to watch.

Movie was predictable and average for a Class B movie. The movie had potential, but under delivered. There were some good spots in the movie, but on a scale of 1 to 10 I give it a 5.5 - Average at best -

My son has had three open heart surgiers and is a heck of a baseball player. This movie reminded me of him so much. The doctors said he couldnt do anything and he showed them he could. Alt 12 he was throwing 72 miles a hour like mickey. The movie is really real for anyone that is in baseball when they get in the 11-12 age group you always wish for one more year. This is a wonderful movie about the ups and downs of a family struggling with lives many wrongs , and the strenght they have to try to stay togeather as a family. It also tells the story of baseball and little league the way it should be told. WONDERFUL!!!! My son loved this movie so much that I was renting it four times a week. I bought it..............

I like movies about baseball and Harry Connick, Jr. Therefore, when I saw this movie offering both, I decided that it was the movie for me. And I was right.

The movie, "Mickey", is very true to life. It is a family oriented movie with
good moral values.

I decided to buy the movie for two reasons. The first being that I thought
it would be a good family movie and the second was because I have collected
all of John Grisham's books and "Mickey" was written for screen therefore,
not in book form.

The movie has lots of baseball in it so it is especially good for boys.

Its an awesome story about a guy on the run and his son who is a great little league pitcher. It shows the results of running from the law and making a wrong a right. It is one of those rare few now adays that dont have sex or violence in it. A great family film. So grab everyone and a bag or two of popcorn and sit everyone down, you wont be dissapointed.
