I Love this DVD!!! It starts with a young Michael Jackson,Don't Stop 'til You get Enouph, early in his career. Rock with You is very simply done, just Michael and a backdrop of light. I think he divides into three of himself, cool. We don't really want to see anyone else, do we?
Then it progresses to Billie Jean which In my opinion shows Michael at the height of his Superstardom. He is Quick on his feet and he has perfected his look and his style. He is so beautiful!!
Beat it is a full scale production number and Michael has many back up dancers and camera men to enhance the action. He still amazes with his unique timing and dance.
Thriller is overkill, but we love it!! The full version is here in all it's scary glory!John Landis helped to write the story and Vincent Price does a mean Voice over!!
Bad, I think was directed by Martin Scorscesi and it is in color, but I like to think of it as black and white and raw.
The Way You Make Me Feel is an extension of Bad, showing Michael as a street tough, an image that becomes a little bit of a stretch for him at this stage of the game. Still, the level of his talent is above and beyond anything else that has been done before or since.
Man in the Mirror is very fitting for this time in our lives. Michael will meet his maker tonight... are we ready to meet ours? He asks us this and I think he means it!!
Smooth Criminal is a new experience for me and probably for Michael as well!!!this video is loaded with all the effects Hollywood has to offer, slow-mo Fast Forward, laser fast edits and blurs make Michael's performance over shadowed by it all.
Dirty Diana is HOT!! It is hard driving and does not let up!!!We are back to basics and Michael performs his @ss of with the help of a great back up band and the only special effects here is a wind machine!!! Anyway we are more than halfway there and there is more to come!!
Black or white with its incredible morphing effects is produced to the max , but still when Michael Jackson is on camera, he will never fail to mesmerize.
You Are Not Alone is a sweet side of Michael on Video. This is when he was married to Lisa Marie and she joins him nude in this history making video.
Earth Song is a protest and a strong message song. He has the means now to put his message out there. It is strong and not pretty. It makes me think that he is in a better place now.
I had a copy of this DVD and when Michael Passed away today I decided to sell it on ebay. I watched it one more time before letting it go... Well, I enjoyed it so much that I purchased two of these DVD's to replace the one I listed!!! Go Figure!!!!????
Blood on the Dance Floor finds Michael back at the disco, no special effects to speak of, just a good beat and alot of fashionable people dancing with the King of POP!!
You Rock My World pits Michael against some very nasty looking gangsters Soprano Style. He Dances them to death, but not before he steals the girl!!This is a long number and he delivers the dance and the anger with a bottle smashing scene. You Rock my world closes this extravaganza with a full blown movie style video complete with a guest shot by Marlon Brando.
We will never see another like Michael Jackson. May he rest in Peace and find the happiness in the next world that eluded him in this one. I know for a fact that I will miss him emmensely. I won't be alone, but when I am feeling the loss, this DVD will bring him back for an hour or more and that is Magic!!
