Michael Jackson - Live In Japan (DVD, 2009)

the production values are horrible, i.e. a 12 year old with a new CPU, although the mixing on live at Bucharest is really bad its a great concert and worth owning, this one live in japan is recorded so bad its a big disappointment but being a big MJ fan I had to see it, now ill sell it on e bay

The concert is great, but the quality of this dvd is terrible. I wouldn't recommend buying this. If anyone cann recommend a MJ concery DVD from the BAD era please contact me. I want a dvd that plays like a dvd you buy at the store.

This "Live in Japan" was not as good as the others Live DVD's that i watched. If compare to the other live DVD that i have about MJ, I would like to introuduce these two DVD " MICHAEL JACKSON BEST HITS & CONCERTS - Item number #110407402039 " and "MICHAEL JACKSON LOVE IN BUCHANEST- The Dangerous Tour". You would not want to put them down to do the other thing while you are watching the last two DVD's I memtion.

This concert was great! I loved all the songs that were performed in this show. He did a mixture of his solo songs and the 'Jacksons' songs as well. I enjoyed this performance more than the 'Live In Bucharest' show, because of the songlist. I also think that this show was more energetic from beginning to end.

The only downside to this DVD was the quality of the footage. It looked like you were watching it on television...back in the 80's. I was hoping that they could have cleaned it up to digital quality. That would have been fantastic to see this performance digitally remastered. But, the performance itself, was great!

I am a big MJ fan and was really looking forward to watching this dvd. Well, I will say this as politely as I can, this dvd is not worth 2 cents. The video quality is horrible, on the far shots you could hardly make Michael and others out on the stage. It was like someone recorded this with a cell-phone camera, although there were no cell phones back them.

Goofy graphics on occassion. Wasn't really partial to Thriller on this dvd as the picture is bad enough but then they put in these strange 'blood dripping' graphics to move from camera angel to camera angel.

Sound is reasonable.

I would be really hard pressed to even recommend this dvd to the most die-hard MJ fan, not because of performance but because of the horrible video quality. Live in Bucharest is much better, that one is very good.

A GREAT DVD, I'VE SEEN IT BEFORE. HOWEVER, THE SELLER DID NOT SEND MY DVD, NOR REFUND MY MONEY....HONG KONG....AUCTION AVE.......BEWARE OF THIS ONE!

I bought it because the Bucharest concert DVD was so awesome, but the Japan one was not near as good, but I am a true Michael Jackson fan and anything I can have with him on it is just great with me....

MIchael jackson was one of a kind. i wish people could have seen the real Michael before his death. he was so generous and thoughtful he gave over 300 million dollars to charites. if someone needed a transplant and he heard about it he would pay for it. E.T.C. there was so much we never knew about him (good things)he will always be missed. this DVD is awesome. it is a shame he was taken way to soon. God bless you Michael Jackson.

I was very pleased with this dvd. It was as described, and fast shipping. A++ service. I would certainly purchase again.

When I watched this DVD I was kinda dissappointed. First it was very dark - very bad recording... some parts was very hard to make out. It seems as though this was everyone's 1st or 2nd day on the job - from camera crew, to instructing/criting Jackson on how to put on a good show. Actually, this DVD, kinda put me to sleep, and I couldn't wait for it to be over. However, I'm glad I brought it, and it's a part of my collection. After all, this was shot in 1987, and he just wasn't as spectacular as he is now. Hardly any stage affects - lighting, no pryotechnics, smoke very - boring - nothing fancy.. If you get his other DVD's reflecting his concerts, most of the songs and stage shows are kinda the same, but he has grown SO MUCH, everything has gotten 200 times better, and you can truly see the progression he has made. I'll probably will not watch this again, but I'm glad I got the chance to see the "then" and the "now" versions!!! If you are a true MJ Fan, I would say get it. You can never have too much of MJ. Micheal RIP!! You'll be missed!

I bought it because he had just died,the dvd quality is very poor,it looks as if it is 50 years old,but Im ok with everything else,just wish it was clear,I dom not blame the seller,everyting about the transaction was At

after waiting for product 40 days, the seller told me he had run out of the product and gave me a credit for it. Since it was not imminent need for product I accepted

I loved it it was Michael in his prime he is so energetic i love Michael Jackson.and i miss him so much I never believed in all the lies about him. i knew that he wouldn't ever hurt a child, he's a big kid that never grew up. as he calls himself PETER PAN.R.I.P. Michael I always believed in you. I LOVE YOU.
