Im giving Michael Buble's 'Michael Buble' a 5/5 rating even though I do think its inferior to his latest album "It's Time"... how does that work? Well I would actually rank "It's Time" as better than 5/5!
The mark of Michael Buble is his strong, crisp voice that translates so well across genres and sounds. The mark of "Michael Buble" is the album's throwback style - from Moondance to Come Fly With Me - Buble takes on some of the great songs ever produced or sang... and plants his own style and sound on it. The album is fantastic in the foreground and also plays nicely as background music for parties or dinners.
Excellent and highly recommended!

Michael Buble self titled CD (2003)I went searching for this CD after watching the movie "The Wedding Date" because I loved the song "swing". He has a wonderful voice - very smooth - and does a great job of infusing something new into old songs (though the Bee Gees was not one I was expecting, I must say!). If you are looking for original material, this is not the CD for you, but if you are looking for something mellow to listen to, this is a great CD.

wooooo hooooolove this cd!!!! It has brought me so much happyness that I gave it to a friend and she loves it also. Then we played it for a group of people that work for us and they went crazy with the songs! can't say enough.

) I've heard a lot of his music in movies and wanted to find some albums with those songs that caught my attention. This album is awesome. Romatic, funny and just great music with a person who has a great voice.

) I purchased the Michael Buble' CD entitled Michael Buble' and couldn't wait to receive it. I must say that I was not disappointed. I love his style of music, and that he sings the standards. This is a great CD to buy if you appreciate Sinatra, Harry Connick, Jr., etc. The only thing I don't like about it is that many of his songs are repeats of music from his other CDs. Of course, this is only an issue if you have several of his other CDs, as well. Other than that, I highly recommend it!

SENSATIONAL!!!This CD is sooo good, it is perfect sing-along in the car music. Michael has such a sultry, gorgeous, sexy, perfect for this type of music voice. Come Fly with me is a favorite of my 3 year old daughter who requests it all of the time, The way you look tonight is a perfect wedding song, Michael has a great rendition of How can you mend a broken heart, and who doesn't like Sway (what a fun get up and dance song). That's all is the perfect ending to a perfect CD. Another great CD of Michael Buble is Call Me Irresponsible (just came out in May), he has a couple of songs on this CD that he wrote that are amazing, Lost is my favorite of all of his songs but Everything is such a fun song you can actually hear him smiling while he sings (you have to listen to it to know what I mean). Now, if you want to see him in concert, Caught in the Act is a nice concert to watch. He is so pleasant to look at too. Enjoy Michael Buble!

I purchased this CD after buying "It's Time" cause I loved that CD. Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed with this CD due to it being so commercial. I can only surmise this was one of his earlier CD's and he had little artistic say. I preferred "It's Time" much better, he seems more comforable in his skin and has created his own sound. Even still, he's got a GREAT voice! If you like easy listening; Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin and Harry Connick Jr. You will love Michael Buble's dreamy voice.

I had the good luck of being able to see Mr. Buble live in concert in Reno this past july. He was amazing! So full of energy, hit every note and was great with the audience. He was gratious to his fans who waited by the tour bus after the show signed autographs and talked to many of them. He deserves all the sucess in the world. Buy this cd because he bring back swing!

This is by far Michael's best CD. His voice is so pure. I hate to compare anyone to Frank Sinatra but between his voice and charm, I think Michael could be a modern day version.

I used this CD as the background music for my wedding. Buble is our generation's Sinatra, helping twenty-somethings like me remember that romance can be express in a classy way. My wife and I have listen to it about 80 times and I'm tired of it yet. We are making plans to see him in concert next year.
