A really good book!
This is a fantastic biography. It chronicles Michael Bloomfield through interviews with his friends and relatives, and through interviews with Bloomfield - in their own words. This gives different perspectives on various aspects of his life and the incidents that occurred. It is well written and an exciting read. I have read it twice already! It also comes with a very interesting CD of very early Bloomfield. I wholeheartedly recommend this book - there is no other place to get this much information on Bloomfield (unless you're lucky enough to know Al Kooper, Mark Naftalin, Elvin Bishop, Nick Gravenites, etc. or a member of his family).
