Miami Vice - Season 2 (DVD, 2005)

This series takes the world of cops and robbers into the real trendy streets of a hot,sensual and magnificent Miami. This season we find Crockett and Tubbs back doing what we like most, high fashion, fast cars, slick boats and to top it off, very hot women.
Miami is the greatest city on earth.

This MIAMI VICE cannot be replaced by the new one, they were the first, the ones, the only. Excellent for fans of MV.

While most shows from the 80s pale in comparison to today's fare, what remains in our memories is oftentimes more important than special effects or cinematogrqaphy. I remember Miami Vice as a first run show and set aside time each week to view the newest episodes as they aired. At the time, the show was a loud, racy and envelope-pushing groundbreaker that dared to explore such topics as interracial partnerships (I Spy notwithstanding) and the fine line our law enforcement people dance with every day (a la The Shield). This second season offers a much better Miami Vice than Season One. The stories are more coherent and more tightly written, the characterizations are beginning to flesh out and the series is just starting to hit its stride. I recommend that you consider this trip down memory lane to the land of pastels, no socks, Duran Duran and big hair if for no other reason than it's just plain fun!

I picked this set up off of Ebay after buying the 1st season set elsewhere. I orginally found the first set randomly on Amazon, not realising that the series had been released to DVD. Being a big fan of the Miami Vice series, I was very happy to see it finally being released. Like many others, I was and still am, a big fan of this show.
Why may not come as a suprise to the millions of fans who loved this show. At the time it had just about everything you could want from a police drama. With it's many famous guest stars, the latest fashions and the bodies to wear them, good plot lines, fantastic scenery, colors and sounds, hot cars and chases, some really great music from current(at the time) performers and always a terrific soundtrack from Jan Hammer, this show just about had it all.
Although towards the end of it's production it was loosing some of it's edge and the plots were getting a little tired and thin, the show still made a huge impact on television history.
I can't wait for the rest of the series to come out so I can complete my collection.
And of course, I'll buy it on Ebay!

I bought the Miami Vice-Season 2 DVD from ebay because of the price. It was much cheaper than buying it in the store, especially since it was brand new. I will only purchase items that are new and not used. The item arrived in excellent condition.

The show that defined the look, the style, the sound and the attitude of the eighties is now available on DVD. Miami Vice season two captured the very essence of style and cutting edge look and feel of what the eighties were all about. Starting with the television movie The Prodigal Son and ending with the season two finale Sons and Lovers, the hard hitting good versus bad story lines where mixed with art deco style and hard hitting sounds that characterized the brilliance of Michael Mann. Miami was the place to be and Miami Vice season two is definitely a must have in any DVD collection.

Liked the series when it came out. Didn't get to see a lot of them because
I was busy at the time. Crockett & Tubbs were and still are fun to watch,
along with the cool, hip music they carried.

Bought this item as a fathers day gift. Item came quickly and was new just as advertised. Would do business with again.

I've always been a Miami Vice fan, and when I found out the show was coming out on home video, I said to myself "I have to have it". Then when it was advertised about season two, I coildn't wait. I'm happy to do business with eBay, and looking forward to continue on.

I am an avid fan of Don Johnson. This is an excellent set. I never got to see all of Miami Vice when it was on television and therefore loved watching it. I will watch it over and over I am sure because it is that good.

I haven't watched the entire second season yet, but what I've seen has been great. I watched this show as a young teenager, so it's a trip back to my childhood. The series put the city of MIAMI on the map.

Personally, I thought this was the best year of the series and I

this was a series that revolutionized having real music on TV instead of nondescript soundtracks and set the fashion standard for men for years to come. Even now men look great in a jacket with a t-shirt underneath.Great series and the men looked great!

I loved this series in the eighties and I could'nt wait for it to come out on DVD. Of course there is no better place than E-Bay to purchase new or used DVD's so I have been picking up each season as they are released. As always I got superb quality and excellent prices and I am enjoying this series all over again!

Crockett and Tubbs are still kicking butt back in the 80's, helped by Gina Trudy Schyteck and Zito. Lt. Castillo is just as stoick and monoslyobic as ever, and his opposit "Izzy" is still around too.

If you watched the shows when they were on TV and not seen them since, WOW what a stroll down memory lane! If you were born in the 90's and have never seen "Miami Vice" before just get past the wardrobe,(Which was AWSOME at the time 'Trust Me') and you still have strong plots with plenty of twists, comedy, tons of action, and even "ELVIS" not what you think. This is an awsome series Season 2 is no exception. My recomendation is "BUY IT" you wont be sorry.

This is the one season that defines the show and is a must see. The stories, acting, and music are all at their best here.

If you have never seen Miami Vice you don't need season 1 to understand. If you're already a fan then spoil yourself and indulge in all that is Miami Vice.

This was a great time for me and brings back great memories. The show had a ton of special guests of different styles. The personalities of the actors/actresses were varied and all the different cinematography also made this a great series. The music is what really tied it all together and made it a memorable show. There were so many things that came out of this show and even if a lot is not still in style, it was good just to relive it again. I wouldn't watch it over and over because then it would get boring but an occasional time to unwind and be entertained is what this offers for me.

Nice to be able to relive the scenes of Miami and enjoy the great music that was added to make up the series. I always enjoyed watching Crockett and Tubbs in their various rolls to try and catch the bad guy.

I love Miami Vice it was a great show, I was a big Don Johnson fan, he had the girls, the car, and style.

It was in excellent condition when i received it. I purchased the item b/c i was a fan of the TV show when I was younger. There wasn't a scrath on either of the DVDs. delivery was fast also.

ordered on Jan. 24th and i have not yet received the dvd. seller continues to say that the mail is being slow. its been nearly 2 months.
