What a great CD, even for a native english speaker. This CD is very powerful and when translated the words come alive and are very descriptive. "La Camisa Negra" is one of the best songs in the latin genre. I enjoyed the CD and it helped me understand Spanish and latin-countries culture. Juanes is a very great artist.

sure The Beatles helped many folks learn English in the last century) I discovered this artist on youtube 6 months ago & have been a big fan ever since.
"La Camisa Negra" is an earworm — you can’t get it out of your head. Has a great music video as well.
Juanes is a Columbian folk/rock artist who mixes together the spice of South American folk music with the universal Rock & Roll. Hard to top.
The problem was trying to decide WHICH CD to buy.... since it seems like each album had 2 or 3 songs I really liked. La Camisa Negra made this one my first choice but will undoubtably buy more.
I’m 65 but I’ve sure this guy is helping lots of high schools teach Spanish in the USA! Brilliante lyrics go way beyond the usual insipid stuff.
