Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (Wii)

The controls and graphics are brilliant, and the story is compelling, with interacting characters and VOICEOVERS!!!!! By far the best game for Wii so far, other than Legend of Zelda. This game proves that the Wii format is perfect for first person games.

Great game. If you dont' like any other metroid game, this game isn't going to be for you. It's the same format. First new weapons, energy and missle upgrades, morph into the ball and worm your way through small passages, that sort of thing.

The controls were a little tricky to get used to at first but once I figured them out it worked like second nature. Samus looks in the direction the controller is pointed at the screen so it took some getting used to. I did learn the hard way If I sat too far from the screen, samus would go spinning. Now that I have the controls figured out I really how they are set up. Very innovative.

This game is a key example in showing how the Wii's style of gameplay is perfect for first person games. The storyline is definitely gonna have any Metroid fan at the edge of their seat and the graphics are just as great. A must buy for any Metroid fan.

Very cool game! Interesting story keeps game going. Use of the wii remote is great. Utilizes the wii remote much more than most games. Graphics are great and gameplay is exciting!

Wii is wildly pleasurable in my home, metroid is one of our favorite games. This is a sure winner for all you Samus fans!

In my humble non-gamer opinion this is a pretty good game. Hard enough for gamers yet not so hard as to completely put off the non-gamer. Good fast action. Good addition to your Wii Game collection.

The game is great, i like playing it. Its pretty confusing though at the beginning. I bought it because i really like playing part 1 and 2.

I got this game yesterday and played it for a while. The game is really cool and very interactive. However, I found the instruction kinda confusing sometimes and some task in the game are hard to perform. Maybe it's just my lack of gaming skills.

I love the graphics and the fact that you have to think alot about what to do next. I think this is a good buy for anyone that knows the metroid games.

I have never played metroid prime 1, or metroid prime 2: Echoes, but I have played the metroid games for the snes, nes and up. I am an old school gamer. I love RPG's above everything else. This game was well organized. It was clever the way they concealed things and I like that you have the option of learning everything there is to know about the storyline. I love games with a deep story and that's exactly what I got from this. I looked up to the Snes Metroid called "Super Metroid" I was looking for this game to be similar but in an advanced way, and it far exceeded my expectations. When I play on my Wii, I feel as though I am Samus Aran, i love it, and even though i've completed the game many times I keep playing because I love it, I would have to say that it's replay value is quite high, you see this alot with good games. I'm sure all of the gamers can agree with me when i say "When you can replay a game over and over and not get bored, it was truly made well".

I decided to buy this game because it gave me a reason to use the Wii mote. Unlike Super smash brother brawl this game actually utilizes the power of the Wii and the Wii mote. It tries very hard to put you in the game with the little things in the game, which makes it more realistic and fun. I am not saying that ssbb is a bad game, its an awesome game i play all the time, i go to tournaments too, but its just not interactive, but it is fun. Overall I like this Metroid prime3 game and it is challenging. I let my sister play it once and she did not understand what to do, like she did not know how to move and aim, even tho i explained to her like a million times. So I recommend this game to people who have played shooter games like Halo3, Kill zone, Or other shooter games with duel analog movement. I would also play the game first and give it some time to see if you can get the hang of the shooting. Most people don't like this game because they cant get the hang of the shooting, which is pretty difficult.

AMZING, cannot say enough about this game, if you dont have it, buy it, it utilizes every aspect of the Wii and beats it til your arms are sore from riping shields off enemies! it is totally worth every penny spent!

There's HALO, DOOM and then there's Metroid. Even though it's mostly a FPS, it's also an action game, it's puzzle, it's many things well orchestrated togheter making it a superb and unique experience. One of the highest rated Wii game, it takes full advantage of the Wii's motion controls and lets you experience a totally different game in a well populated genre. Two sore thumbs way up!

I got Metroid thinking, not knowing anything about the series, 'This doesn't look all that good". I was wrong. Metroid was one of the best games I've ever played. And for the Wii, the graphics are amazing. The game is clear about the controls, without the first hour of gameplay feeling like you're in a complete tutorial. The puzzles are just the right difficulty, but sometimes you need the help of the guide. Overall, a great game for anyone in your house.

Pros: Multiple attacks, puzzles, storyline

Cons: The doors in the game are dumb (they don't open without multiple hits and moving around in the vicinity of the door), no multiple guns, final boss is too easy, and no multiplayer.

Despite the cons, I definately reccomend buying this game

This games visuals are amazing. Always have loved Metroid and this is no exception. Great 1st person shooter for all ages. My 11 year old thought Halo was cool until he played this game...Heh.

Best shooter for the wii, hands down.

I bought this, along with the Wii console to play it, because my son loves these games. I have never played the series but I have had him take me through the two Gamecube titles. I have always been impressed by the graphics and the game play. I should probably play this one myself. From what I have seen so far this is about what I expected. A top quality game. Dare I say the closest thing to Halo on Nintendo. Hmmmmm maybe they should tackle multi-player. The introduction of motion control is pretty good. I like it I am sure that my son will love it when he comes over to play it.

I would rate this game as just O.K. I am only part way though but I find it a bit tedious and uninspiring. The game has no soul!! The reason I bought it is because most of the reviews were very good. You simply go here and there running Aron's and blowing stuff up, O.K. if that`s what your into. For me it`s way to cold and metallic to enjoy. I recently finished the latest Zelda saga and enjoyed it very much. Some of the reviews compared the two as being in the same class so I am a little disappointed.

I haven't played a Metroid game since the first one for 8 Bit NES and I barely played that. I've always taken to games like Zelda and steered away from the Metroid Series.

With that said, this game is excellent. Its so natural. Samus' arm is a canon and so is yours with the Wii Remote. Decent graphics, so far a decent story and great game play.

I would recommend NOT getting the guide for it. Unless you are a diehard obsessive that needs to get EVERY last thing you don't need it. I bought one to go with the game and having now beaten three bosses and made a decent dent in the game I have yet to look at the book other than to regret buying it.
