Meteora [ECD] by Linkin Park (CD, Mar-2003, Warner Bros. Records Record Label)

I'm a huge Linkin Park fan. I've seen them in concert three times and absolutely love their original style However, Meteora leaves much to be desired. It lacks true inspiration and focus.

It seems that on the cusp of their multi-platinum debut album "Hybrid Theory" (a classic, I might add) and the number 1 selling remix CD of all time "Reanimation", Hybrid Theory seems to have been thrown together. Mike Shinoda is one of the most talented artists of today's generation, but maybe the pressure to put out another killer album had negative effects on the production.

I'll keep listening and continue to support Linkin Park - but make sure to listen to a copy at your local Sam Goody (or a friends house), before you drop the $16.99 on it.

Linkin Park really outdid themselves with this cd because Numb is one of the best songs that has ever been made. Breaking the Habit is also very good. Linkin Park is a great band and this is a great cd. I would definently recommend buying this cd. Must buy!!

Linkin Park delivers all that they promised in this cd. With tracks like "Somewhere I Belong.", "Breaking The Habit.", "Faint.". and "Numb." what more could you want? And those are just the tracks that jump out at me. I realized the more I listened the more I grew to love this album. Chester Bennington and Mike Shinoda do a stunning job of delivering lyrics while Phoenix, Brad, Rob, and Mr. Joe Hahn shell out the music. This mix of sadness, anger, and wanting more out of life just bleeds from this album. Although it will never quite top Hybrid Theory, Meteora certainly didn't crash.

i couldnt say which is better, meteora or hybrid theory. this uses much more oof joe's turntable and creates a certain "experimental" mood. all i can say is that this cd deserves awards and sounds completely original. one of linkin park's best works, without a doubt. a must-have.

It was a cd smacked full of great tracks,
and a great Christmas present for a music fan and love one.

I never really thought anything special about Linkin Park until I heard this full ablum. I was shocked... this one is up there with the "Fallen" by Evanescene and "If Only You Were Lonely" by Hawthorne Heights cds of the 2000s. -Great CD!-

Meteora est d'un style plus agressif qu' Hybrid Theory ou encore Minutes to Midnight mais on reste quand même sous le charme.
De plus cet album contient beaucoup de perle comme Somewhere I belong, Faint, Numb, From the inside ou encore Breaking the habit .Encore un album que l'on prend plaisir a écouté .

Am I the only one who thinks this sounds like a cross between DC Talk and Rage Against The Machine? I've tried several times but cannot get into this one at all. It sounds way too much like Christian music trying to be angry. 3 stars.

I bought this cd for my husband.He really loves linkin parks's music.I found that i enjoy their music too.We really loved this cd.It is great music to jam out to while exercising,running,or just driving in the car.

Great songs on this album by Linkin Park. If you liked Hybrid Theory, you will like Meteora. Highly suggested to buy if you like their sound.

Great if you like Linkin Park or Alternative Rock in general. Better than their newest CD (Minutes to Midnight) and on par with their first!

the cd was nice but it took 2 weeks for it to get to me. only a little bit of the case was broken. the guy sent the cd after one week. the cd palyed prfectly. that was probably the best part about that guy.

Linkin Park is a great band and I love their music. Meteora is a great CD but I only have a couple of songs that I truly like. Overall, the CD is great =)

The CD is in great shape when I recieved it. Sounds great! I bought it for my nephew for Christmas because he likes the music by Linkin Park!

I was looking for a bunch of CD's and this place had them and I received a discount on shipping since I bought them together. I was a good over all deal - One of the CD's I bought with this bunch was not what I was looking for though - however it is a possibility that it was my fault - read the descriptions on the CDs and make sure you know what you are buying and buy from these guys

Meteora is excellent CD showcasing Linkin Park's unique blend of traditional hip-hop, and heavy metal. This CD includes some of LP's most infamous radio casted hits: Somewhere I Belong and NUMB. The bonus features include the Somwhere I Belong music video. A must have for any LP fan!

This is a wonderful cd to follow Hybrid Theory. It gives you a great combination of rap/alternative/hard rock into one and so well put together. The lyrics are so well thought out and personal, as if they were standing in your shoes, speaking your mind and the surround music fits so well. I definitely recommend this cd if you need to reflect and/or want to just get into some great music.

great cd a definately must have..every song rocks i think chester must of broke up with his chick or something because all the songs talk about a relationship and not working out but theyre all good songs

I HAD GOTTEN MY PREVIOUS METEORA ALBUM STOLEN, SO I WANTED A REPLACEMENT. IT DIDN'T MATTER TO ME IF THE COVER HAS DENTED OR SCRATCHED BECAUSE I STILL HAD THE COVER IN MINT CONDITION FROM MY PREVIOUS CD. I LOVE MOST OF THE TRACKS IN THE ALBUM BECAUSE OF THE RYTHM AND LYRICS. THE SECOND ALBUM OF LINKIN PARK WAS A DISSAPOINTMENT SO WHEN I HEARD THIS ONE, I ALWAYS CARRY THIS CD WHEN I GO TO WORK. I JUST PUT ON MY HEADPHONES A DRIFT OFF.
