This is the album that really made Metallica.It was alot softer than previous albums but still with some real hard hitting songs.This album brought Metallica a whole new fanbase and did wonders for their sales of previous albums.Unfortunately(in my opinion) it was the last great album they did and everything from there on sounded a bit average.Although Cliff Burton will always be a metal God the departure of Jason Newsted put me off the band for good.A brilliant album but not an all time classic.
