Great Game!!! Unfortunately they dont really make it anymore...very hard to find :S Portable Ops Plus is ok but this is a great game!!! Highly recommended...I bought a PSP just for this:)

So, I will start about by saying, "WOW". For a Metal Gear Solid game on the PSP, this game has some amazing graphics. The first thing that got me to check this game out was the fact that it's a sequel to the 3 title on the PlayStation 2. I really enjoyed Snake Eater, I felt like it hit back to some of that old school nostalgia of the first Metal Gear Solid. So when I got this game I was expecting some more of that wonderful feeling. The game is a very fun and interactive game. Unlike the previous Metal Gear Solid games, this game isn't a solo mission. You rely on team members that you recruit to help you through stages, giving a more strategic feel to the game. I say right now that the storyline for the game, for as much as I've played, is pretty darn good. If your a fan, and have been following the story of these games, this game is a must play. There were only a couple of things that I didn't like about the game. The first being the way they went about the cut scenes. I have to say that the animation is really cool, but sometimes when there is a lot of action and it's hard to see what's going on because there is no color to signify one thing from the other. Next the controls take a lot of getting use to. The camera is epecially annoying to perfect, but you eventually get the hang of it. I understand that they had to change the controls to fit the PSP, but it was a little annoying. The third and final thing that bothered me was the lack of audible dialogue, another thing that you get used to, but it was still disappointing. The only time you hear the characters talking is in the cut scenes, no more voiced codec. ;( If you are a fan of Metal Gear Solid, or just looking for a fun game for your PSP, I definitely recommend you check this game out. It's a pretty darn fun game.

this game is great, at first you notice the lack of the suave action "movie" sequences from ps2. but, after a while, the cartoon art scenes take a life of their own, and they are great. after you are immersed in the game, the "movie" sequences become a distant memory. the game play is awesome. some of the missions tend to be somewhat easy, but theres enough missions for a portable. the score/soundtrack is incredible, the graphics superb for a portable. the only dislike is all the phone /radio calls that are automatically picked up during missions. it gets annoying when repeating missions multiple times. another criticism, not of OPs in particular, but the whole series: it would be great if snake could jump. it would simply add to the realism in my eyes.

trust me just buy it a great addition to the mgs seris better than mgs2 the team feature makes it really fun but the kontrols are kinda funky but still fun

Whawwwwooowww an exelent game and unique control system. A game you can not miss on your collection.

This one of the best game that I have ever played. the story and the graphics are great. Can't wait for the next Metal Gear game for PSP.

Take the best stealth parts of the previous Metal Gear games and add in a new twist, the enemy now can become your ally. Go out and knock out the enemy and drag their bodies back to your truck and *BAM* 1 or 2 missions later their yours to control. I didn't think the Metal Gear series could get any better but wow! And the missions are no push-overs either. My only gripes is that as far as I can tell Snake HAS to be in the team going into the mission but I've only been playing for a week and well thats not really that much of problem....

I bought a psp game called, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops like 1 month ago. This game was used but everything was like new. The game works perfectly. I don't have any complain about this product. Overall, I'd recommend the game if you want a good game used for less money. Really I feel like I bought it new from a store. I give an A+ to the quality.

Excellent game, definitely one of the best 3 games for PSP right now. None of the MG acid card style gaming anymore, its just like mgs 2 or 3 for ps2- Epic experience.

This is my favorite shooter for the psp. the online here is great and also is the gameplay. the concepts of the teams and everything are awsome. two thumbs up!!!
