I loved Metal Gear Solid ever since i was a child, and i now able to play the games i was meant and enjoy it all :D. The package arrived early in perfect condition. Sorry it took me so long to review this. Thanks for the great games!

I bought this because Metal gear solid has to be my most favorite game series of all time. It is a must have for every hard core metal gear fan. Since the last installment came out, I wanted to start playing from the first one to get familiar with the story again. This is an absolute Must Have!!!

Metal Gear Solid has the best gameplay mixed with the best story of ANY video game series. The music is wonderful and the graphics only get better. If you want to play a good game, these are what you are looking for. And if you can afford it or already have a PlayStation 3, I suggest you get Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots too. I was intrigued as a kid of the whole spy espinoge thing. So I was excited that Metal Gear was out on the Playstation. Of course this game never let me down. It is so raw with emotion, you actually feel a sense of compassion with certain characters. Now with the PS3 and 360, the PS doesn't get much attention. But this box set of the three greatest games [IMO] for the PS, gives me reason to dust it off and dive in.

I LOVE THIS GAME BECAUSE IT HAS THREE GAMES IN ONE. IT AS AN IMPROVED VERSION OF GAMES 2 AND 3 AND HAS THE ORIGINAL VERSION OF THE FIRST GAME

Its about time that there was a collection like this. this is one of my favorite games of all time. the metal gear franchise is one of the best out there. i was glad that i could get all three games for one low price. i originally only wanted the original metal gear solid but i later found out that my metal gear solid 2 doesn't work so i got lucky with this buy. the only thing that i don't like is that u need an ps1 memory card to save the original metal gear solid file. but other wise this game is defiantly worth the money.

They are all as good as they are advertised. The games have a solid story and an awesome sense of gameplay.

I loved MGS2
I bought this because I just ordered MGS4, and wanted to know what was going on.
I can honestly say that the first hour of MGS3 wasn't as impressive as I wanted it to be. So I dropped it and went on to MGS4. Much better.

The greatest video game series comes back with sweetness, MGS: Essential is a must have for fans and collectors; and as cheap as they are?? come tight wad get off the bucks, ya can't take it with you!!

Just what i wanted, it is great. It have 3 boxes with the cd's and the manual book for each game, i truly recomend it

Everything the seller had on the ad was correct. The games were in mint condition like the seller said. The games were at my house in three working days like the seller said.

Very good seller. Everything is ok. I recommend. The package is very secure and i didn`t have any problems with the seller abou my questions and problems.

Everything about this is great. The only thing I didn't like is that they didn't include the second disk for MGS3.

Also, it would have been SUPER AWESOME if they ported Twin Snakes to the PS2 instead of the PS1 version (which comes in the original "black" disk)

This is the greatest game series of all time.

A mix of exciting (albeit a little cheesy) story and terrific stealth gameplay.

This collection contains Metal Gear Solid for the original PlayStation, Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance for the PS2, and Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence for the PS2.

Both Substance and Subsistence are the re-releases of the original games in the series.
