Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (Playstation 3, 2008)

I picked this game up from the store after reading all the reviews. This game was amazing. First off the graphics are stunning. The graphics in-game are top notch. You can see every little whisker and detail on the characters and the environment. The cut scenes are absolutely amazing. The graphics in the cut scenes are motion picture film quality. Most of the time I would get very bored and just skip long cut scenes, but these cut scenes keep you hooked with lots of action and amazing graphics. The cut scenes can be a little long at times, some of them range up to 10+ minutes, but trust me they are amazing to watch and you won't want to skip them. The controls are very easy to learn and handle and there are no weird camera angles that make gameplay hard or almost impossible. All the weapons are very easy to handle and u can customize almost everything. The boss fights were a lot of fun. The only downside of the boss fights is after u kill them its sort of repetitive. It would have been better if they made the ladies do some different moves then just walk after you. The storyline keeps you hooked all the way to the ending and never gets old. This game does take patience though. Most of the time you will be stealth sneaking around. If you are a run and gun type this game might not be the best for you. Yes, you can run around and shoot everything but that would take forever and you would probably die within a short amount of time. All in all this game is amazing. By far one of the best games I have ever played.
