Metal Gear Acid (PlayStation Portable, 2005)

The legendary Metal Gear series comes to the PSP in METAL GEAR ACID. Experience a whole new gameplay system that focuses on deep tactical strategy with an entirely new Metal Gear storyline. I bought the game because I love metal gear games but this game has to much reading and very short game time.I don't know what else to said about this game to each his or her owen.

Metal Gear Acid is a great game. Not only does it involve card base strategy, but a stealth aspect as well. The game awards you for not killing and using the cards to come out unseen. The only problem I would say the game presents is the insanely high learning curve, but once you get the core of the game down, the strategy will keep you coming back for more every time.

I thought the game was awsome. It's a thinkers game. You can't be impatient to play this game you acutally have to use your brain. It has an excellent storyline that keeps you guessing. After beating it the first time I immediatly started over and beat it again trying to find stuff I missed the first time. Good game!

MGA is a turn based game, that means that you have to wait until is your turn to play. You willnot be navigating the scenes like other games such as Resident Evil. And when it's your turn to playyou have to use "cards" to perform your next move, the cards go from moving certain amount of steps to shooting etc; Personally I don't like the "turn based" gamesa lot, MGA is the first one that I play like that and it's not my favorite. The game and story are god i general. Once you start playing it you kinda get "hooked".

Personally, I've always been a fan of the Metal Gear series. This PSP portable version is a different, fun, new take on the game genre. Fans of games such as Parasite Eve and Final Fantasy Tactics should play this. The game is played via a turn-based, card game type system. The player must guide Snake using a much more strategic view and stealth approach, rather than all out fighting. It's almost like Metal Gear meets chess! Fun if you want a break from Kojima's "Big Boss" games on the home consoles. It's also great to take around on a car trip or something. My only negative complaint is that there's no David Hayter doing any voice overs. Ah well...can't have everything. I give it an 8 out of 10!

It's a nice game kinda like an advanced Yu-Gi-Yo game, but Metal Gear has always been a very great game.

Great game good AI, Lots of cards to play with, ITs truely what you can expect from a Metalgear game. Excelent story, quite long ocveral Its a Great Game cant wait to buy acid 2!

This was a package deal. I ended up with several turn based games in Japanese. Anyways, this game was loved by my 10 year old nephew. He enjoyed it tremendously.

The critics gave this game high reviews and I can see why, though at the same time I can see why some others might not like it. The game itself involves a lot of indepth consideration as far as strategy goes. You can't just go throwing things around and firing at everything like some might in the games for Playstation, PS2, or Gamecube -- this game requires one to think and plan ahead, much more like a game of chess than a shoot-em-up type of game.

I think this game is amazing. Everyone should give it a try before they knock it.

Liked: Great graphics and story as always from Hideo Kojima. Innovative gameplay and challenging puzzles.

Disliked: Can be a serious pain to wait for the ability you want to appear, and you never seem to have what you need when you need it.

The game is fun and the graphics are good. It is a little slow because it's turn base strategy but it is really fun to play and the story is great and I enjoyed playing it. I decided to buy it because I heard it was good and because it was metal gear.

Game su, first hour i played it you have to pic a direction hes running followed by reading and more reading, very slow bas purchace on me, i had high hopes for this game to.

if you know what you're doing it is really fun! it took me ahile but i finally got every single card and was flying through the stages like nothing!

dont like the playing of this game, its boring and dificult, u can`t play freely the game not recomend it.

first off i like the graphics they're pretty good. this metal gear is a lot different than the others because of the game play, it's more of a role playing game. i decided to buy it because i tried it before i bought it and i liked it.
