) i do not really see much of a connection to the two movies except about farms.this was somewhat entertaining.had an o.k. story line.once the lead male charecter found a scarecrow in a cubby hole in his barn.things he wished for went away.example crows in his corn field.something in the movie have been seen and done before,but this movie was good.

Messengers Prequel
Heather Stephens stars in this prequel to Messengers.
When farmer John Rollins discovers the Scarecrow in his barn and sets it up in his field he receives the blessings of evil and the curses that go along with them.
Plenty of gore in this movie, and plenty of action.
The plot is a bit overused as most scarecrow movies are (Haven't we all seen what the evil scarecrow can do in all the other movies?) however this one was entertaining and it was worth the price.
If you liked Messengers you will like this one as well.
