Message in a Bottle (DVD, 1999, Widescreen)

I HAD to love this movie. Inside the hutch inside the main characters house are a group of bottles I myself excavated and sold to the producer just a few miles from where they were filming. She was cruising the flea market and buying up "junk" to dress the set with. The sad part is that none of mine got to be the bottles with the messages, as they were newer and I deal in older stuff. The movie is crushing and depressing overall, which makes it all too real. Realism having pretty much gone out the window in these days of overblown, comic book, slo-mo special effects of people doing absolutely ridiculous things. Happy endings are unfinished stories as far as I'm concerned and this flick doesn't disappoint in that department. Rob ;-D
