A Merry Heart by Wanda E. Brunstetter (2006, Paperback)

I just love everything about the book. Miriam was such a bitter woman because of William a former beau who broke her heart. When William went away to work and gotten married to another woman. She vowed to never fall in love again. Amos Hilty a Widower had alway's loved Miriam, but married someone else when he lost his chance after his friend william starting courting her. Now that his wife was dead and Miriam felt forced to leave her house cause her brother whom she shared the family house with was needing his own privacy to start his own family. That led Miriam to make some life changing decissions. It left me wanting to read more.SOOO GOOOD.. I have read the 2nd in the Brides of Lancaster County series "looking for a Miracle" It was just as wonderful. I am on the 3rd book "Plain & Fancy" and it is just as good. I recommend to all. You will be truly entertained by reading these book's.

I love reading Christian fiction. A Merry Heart is the first of the "Brides" series that Wanda Brunstetter wrote. I thoroughly enjoy reading about the Amish lifestyle. A fast, yet enjoyable, read.

I decided to buy this book because I had received the second in the series as a gift and wanted to read the first one before reading the gift book.
Great series.

Couldn't put it down and I would rank the author at the top of the list in this genre. she makes you feel you are actually in the story and I purchased it due to the content.

What I like about this book is that it is from one of my favorite authors. That is what decided on my buying it. The book is in excellent shape and I am proud to be its owner.

I really like the author, She brings out the best in her stories. The book gives you the feeling of being right there,and you can relate to how they feel. I like how they all pitch in and help each other, and I do like the Bible verses that are used! It lets you know how you should live in this world, and how you should treat others. I bought it because I read all of Her books. They are the best.

Was a very good story about a women who has to learn to move on from past hurts. If you like stories about the Amish, this is a gem.

I like reading stories about the amish. Wanda Brunstetter writes tham so true. It is a very interesting read and makes you feel as though you are there.
