Merlin's Apprentice (DVD, 2006, Full Frame)

Overall a good movie... But don't think of it as a sequel. It's too far removed from the original and fans will likely buy a lot of them (as I did) because the first one was great. Most of the characters are new and seem unrelated and the plot is too differently flavored: it seems more of an action move, but less character driven. But on the brighter side that may be good~ it's not just a rehash. Neill and Richardson are back... always good. So I would recommend it to fans of the first if only because it can be found way cheap on-line! Overall a good try. Thumbs-sideways. If you haven't seen the first one, buy that one instead...

I decided to buy it because I love the television program Merlin and the story of Merlin, King Arthur and Camelot.

This a really good movie about the magician that takes over after Merlin dies or ceases to exist. Good action and intrigue.

I wasn't so sure when I bid on this movie but it turned out to be a pretty good movie with twist on the normal story line of this character. It was also convienient that part 1 and part 2 of the movie were all in the same case. It kept me guessing all the way through. I think you would like it too.

Loved the first installment of Merlin .. so I wanted to see the sequel ... if it's as good as the first installment - that will be cool! thanks ...

This movie goes back to the old country of Camelot, King Arthur and Merlin the magician. Merlin is very tired after performing magic for King Arthur in a large battle. Merlin decides to take a nap. When he wakes up, it is fifty years later and most of his friends have died. Now he must conprehend the time in which is at present. Excellent movie and I recommend it to anyone.

This is much better than Merlin in my opinion,faster paced and a lot more entertaining.I enjoyed it throughly,particularly the pig!Great movie to entertain children and adults alike.Special effects are good and the acting is smooth and believable.Buy a copy today! :)
