With his directorial debut, Andrew Litvack brings together madcap comedic action & a star-studded cast to make a hilarious "coming-out farce."
In Paris, a hot 23yo phone sex addict, Thomas Beaumont (Stanislas Merhar), accepts a paid offer to be a spy in an unusual threesome that winds up in murder. After witnessing the crime, Thomas' narcissistic American opera-diva mom, visiting Paris to perform "Turandot" & do some belated meddlesome mothering, comes by the next day with unexpected news about his long lost father. While trying to find the murderer (Karim Saleh), Thomas has a host of hustlers, an undead gay dad, a flying lesbian, a dead body, a fetish for Brian DePalma movies that come true, his clueless mother, her best friend, a diretor with a clothes fetish, Claude Sabrié (Bulle Ogier), Pénélope (Jane Birkin), an enigmatic actress & the sniggering neurotic who believes she's Vanessa Redgrave (Vanessa Redgrave!) among the Parisian eccentrics searching for an elusive truth. This is a high farce & greatly entertaining~
