For Men Only by Jeff Feldhahn, Shaunti Feldhahn (2006, Hardcover)

I bought this book for my husband. He is reading it now. I have read a little of it and it is very accurate. I read the sequel "For Women Only" two months ago and was reminded of so much about Men. The workbook for Women Only is worth the investment too.

While this book is an excellent tool for any man who would like to try to understand his lady a little better... I must say it is equally valuable to women. I now understand myself more, I can now explain myself in a manner that is not specifically based on emotion but rather on facts. I now know why I get emotionally upset with things that have no relevance to the topic at hand. I suggest every man and woman read this book if you care to love and understand yourself and your ladly even more!!

I ordered both books, For Men Only and also For Women Only. My husband and I read them and both were impressed with some new materials that typically are not in other couple/marriage books. They were written short and concise with lots of information. I especially got a kick out of the quick start guide that folded out of the cover of the mens. Some men just don't like the idea of reading a whole book on women. I would and have recommended this book to both men and women. My husband and I are considering exchanging books to highlight what is important to us and then re-reading them.

A student gave me a copy of both books, for women only and for men only, and my fiance read hers in 2 days. All of a sudden she understood me. Better than I understood myself. I read mine within a few weeks, I don't like to read, and I was surprised at how much I never knew about women and how much easier it is to understand why they do the things they do. Don't get me wrong, we will never be fully able to understand women, but this book comes pretty darn close.

We were holding off on getting married until she felt the time was right. After we both read our books, we were married within 2 months. I have 2 books by my bed, the Bible and for men only(the unofficial man bible). Thank you Shaunti and Jeff!!!

This book has changed the way that my fiance and I relate and communicate. It reveals the reason why she thinks and acts the way she does, and how I (we) should respond. There are eight or so chapters that break down the major areas of disconnect between men and women, and provides examples and solutions. The best to use this book is to have her buy "For Women Only," and discuss them together. I would recommend this book for every couple.

The book was very informative,was more than I thought it would be. The only thing I did not like was that the type was small, I would have loved to have a larger print. I would recommend this book to others.

A wonderful book, as is For Women Only. I've read both because I wanted to give them as shower/wedding gifts. And, I'm giving them to each of my married children. They're small books, easy to read in a nonthreatening, good humored style. But, they are packed with valuable information to get a newly married couple off on the right foot, or an old one onto a better track.

Husband says he learned a lot from reading this resource. He treats me with so much more understanding and tenderness, now. I am also sleeping better (perhaps as a result.) Get the book and the book For Women Only. You'll be glad you did.

I got this book for a wedding gift and now I pass it along to other friends and family who are getting married. It's a great read to understand your wife!

It was a wonderful book for my boyfriend and I to read through together. While some the chapters didn't quite relate to me, I think shaunti did an excellent job of writing things that authors usually sidestep around.

This book provides an inciteful look at ways in which women think differently and have different expectations. It is based on surveys of women about their expectations and how they think and feel about relationships with their men. Percentage of respondents answering in various way is provided so the book doesn't pretend that all women are the same, but it does point out that there are tendencies that the majority of women will fall into. This with its companion volume, "For Women Only" makes a great set of books for those wanting to understand their relationship with the opposite sex better. Sit down and read them together and discuss them as you go.

I learned things about me that were expressed so well and the statistics threw me for a loop. They will reshape a relationship, no matter how great you think it is already...it will make it even better as you seek to know your significant other better.

this book is very helpful and very accurate. I am going to read it a second time to catch the things i might have missed. A solid Christian perspective on relationships, and it has helped me understand my loved one's needs and desired. I can't catch every clue now, but i can catch a lot more.

This book and it's companion book,"For Women Only" by Shaunti Feldhahn, seem to be an excellent source of information for people who want to learn to understand their friends of the other gender. I bought the book for the women and read it, then gave it to my wife. When the book for men came out, I bought it and was half-way through it when my wife died, so we never discussed how to communicate better.
