Memphis Belle (DVD, 1998)

This is a great movie, recounting the heroic efforts of the World War ll bombers, flying bombing missions over Germany. It is dramatic, funny, poignant and a terrific portrayal of these very heroic men that helped give us the lives we know today. I purchased this for my grandson who is interested in our military history all the way back to the Revolution. We originall had the movie on VHS but decided to update to DVD. You will recognize many stars but not so big that they overpower the movie. The movie is a terrific tribute to a time in our history that was very dark and the efforts of a group of men that helped to change the course of the war.
