Memorex MVDP1102 10.2 in. Portable DVD Player

We have already used the player many times. It works great and my 4 year old son loves to have it on the road. The only down side is that it did not have the car charger like the seller said it had. Other than that it works great and the battery lasts long enough to play all of one movie and part of another. I do wish it would have came with the car charger.

The unit was new (as advertised), had one of the largest screen available, and a 4 hour battery life. I bought this for our grandkids when they come to visit - it's just perfect. Great picture and good sound quality. Would not hestitate to recommend this unit to anyone.

The adaptor, for 110 AC house currency never works. I normally use my car adaptor for charging the battery.
I am confused about the name of the seller, but I did received a car adaptor, a remote control and a manual. The seller indicated that evertthing was new, but it doesn't work at all

The player did not play. The display had lines in it and I tried several different dvd's. The seller refuses to help because I put in negative feedback. I am sure this review will help his rating. The square trade warranty didn't cover the dvd player. I think Square trade is a ripoff. I will never do that again. It is up to paypal now as they are investigating the transaction. This isn't all negative the seller actually had fast shipping and has been in contact with me since this happened. Maybe the money will be returned.

IT DID NOT HAVE A G0OOD PICTURE WHEN I RECIEVED IT. AND THE SELLER DIDN'T REPLACE IT. I WAS FORCED TO SEND IT TO THE MANUFACTURER FOR REPAIR. THE SLLER SAYS IN HIS AUCTION THAT IT CAN BE RETURNED IF IT IS WITHIN TWO WEEKS. NOT TRUE

The portability is key for us. Hours of fun camping as well as during travel in the car. The anti jaring feature works so well in the car. Sound is outstanding with or without earphones, which also give wonderful sterio sound.

Likes: crisp, clear, bright picture; stereo sound is clear and audible, not scratchy or 'tinny' like some smaller units; unit is almost noiseless; controls are user-friendly and operate well. The lid opens and closes with ease and it is a comfortable size both viewing and holding.

Dislikes: bulky battery just kind of hangs off the back - I would have made a slot inside the unit for it; on/off switch is on front corner, not as convenient as having it with all the other controls on the side; power plug is on opposite side of other connections so you have all-around connections which can be good or bad, depending on how much desk space you have and your personal application/use of the unit.

Overall: I would rate it at 95% satisfactory, and an excellent value for the money. It's performance features far outweigh the few personal dislikes.

This User: I utilize a lot of electronic equipment in conducting Seminars, classes, lectures, etc. and have a lot of different people using smaller equipment like this. As a professional in the field, I do highly recommend this particular product. Those under my authority who have used it, are impressed with it.

The product was better than the first one I had originally given my grand daughter. The portable DVD player works great, and the seller provided a quality product. I would purchase from the seller again. The kid is happy again, great job.

I bought this mainly for use in my RV. I haven't used it in the RV yet, but have watched a movie or two to try it out. Good picture. The sound is great when using the headset that comes with it or when using my own earphones. But the volume is lower than I would like even when turned up all the way when using the built in speakers. . It is listenable but if in a noisy background, you may find the speaker volume lacking.

I bought this refurbished DVD Player three weeks ago and found it to be in mint condition with exceptional playing quality. I like all of its features, as
advertised, and would definitely recommend it to others based on price,size,
features and quality.

At first this unit would not spin the DVD....I manually gave it a spin and it has worked fine since then. It plays DVD's I recorded; the voice and picture sync very well, something many players do not do well. The unit has a very crisp and colorful screen (it does not have a sharpen control, only saturation, brightness and contrast controls). It came with a battery, charging cable, auto power cable, RCA cables, an S-Video cable, remote control, and a case (suitable for strapping to the back of a vehicles bucket seat). It has AV in and AV out (another feature many players do not have).

Other than the "jump start" mentioned above, this is an excellent value and an excellent player. I recommend this to anyone.

I bought this for when we have our grandson. Cause he just loves to watch DVD's. Now instead of him always tying up our TV so we can not watch the news. Now we also have our freedom back, so it has helped us all. It is also a great product with a big screen.

Love this portable DVD player. It has excellent picture quality and volume. It's easy to use, very portable and reasonably light weight. I bought it to take on a plane trip and we were not disappointed.

works great - very pleased with purchase. Bought it for my home gym for entertainment while exercising.

I've had DVD players before which take a long time to load, then there's that welcome screen and blah blah blah...this loads right away within a couple of seconds and you're off to watching a movie. The battery life is great. I've only tested it with one movie and it had no issues. Very user friendly interface, remote, travel bag, car and wall charger...really a quality product. If I was to fault one thing it would be that the fast forward button should be SEPERATE from the skip back or skip forward buttons. It's really annoying having that in the same buttons. Other than that, the product is great!!

Love the screen size with i received it, the picutre is great. Very easy to work, i was very impressed with the quailty. The size of the screen is wonderful.
