A Member of the Family by Cesar Millan, Melissa Jo Peltier (2008, Hardcover)

I LOVE CESAR MILAN! I find great advice in his books and I've tried his formula. IT WORKS! I have read all of his books, although I am still reading the third. He explains his methods very well and why he does the things he does. Cesars third book takes you from the reasons people decide to get a dog to how to handle a puppy to adopting an older dog and incorporated them into their home. I recommend this book for ANYONE who is considering adopting a puppy, or adopting a dog from a shelter.

Cesar Millan continues to be the 'go to' source for a common sense approach to dog behavior. The book is well written, filled with useful information, and like all of his teaching media, REALLY helps you get into the dog's head and understand what makes them tick. Go Cesar!!!

We bought this book because we rescued a german shepard and wanted to make sure we did right by her. She is a sweet tempered, lovely girl and we all love her. This is a great book for people who have animals or are considering getting one. It really helps to know just what our doggies are thinking. Excellent book. I recomend it to all pet lovers.

this book is awesome. i hate reading, but i recently bought a puppy and this book has educated me sooo much in building a good relationship with my puppy.

This is a great book to read BEFORE you get a dog for your self or family.
His training really works, I have tried it on my 2 dogs, it does take a bit of time. But once they get the hang of the commands it's great.
I would reccomend this book. It's a very easy read.
