I hoped that viewing this behind-the-scenes take on Mel Gibson's "Braveheart" I'd finally come to be able to tolerate the original film. But seeing this only makes Gibson seem more arrogating than ever.
Perhaps he has a following of viewers who like sexism, classism, racism & the utter misinterpretive portrayal of a Scottish legend, but, I'm not among them. What I repeatedly take away from this & every other film that has anything to do with "Braveheart" is sickening violence that is probably more appealing to machismo men.
So if you like "Braveheart" you'll probably like this film too. A point I'd like to make is the subtitle being called Gibson's "passion." I'd be afraid to be involved with him in a passionate relationship if his films are any indication of how he interacts personally~
