Meet the Robinsons (DVD, 2007)

This movie is perfect for all ages! My 2 year old and my 6 year old absolutely love it! It is one of those movies mom and dad don't mind seeing over and over and over and over again =o)

All Wilbur Robinson wanted was to find his mom for closure; gifted inventionist met his future family by accident when his future son loses the family time ship; Wilbur learns that he didn't need to meet his mother to have closure, he had an adopted family that loved him just as much.

Awesome movie to watch with kids. Great sense of adventure, characters, settings, surroundings, and awesome storyline and visual effects!!! Disney made a winner with this and all other movies as well. Nice story with lotz of different twists and turns and great sense of family involvement within the characters. Excellant movie for children of all ages!!!!!!

If you did not see this movie when it came out, it is a must see and a must buy. It is Disney so you know parents can enjoy it as well as children, but it's story line gives kids who may be a little special a view of life if they just,"Keep looking forward!"

The kids love it, it's funny, better than I expected from previews. It also has a good message about preserverance. "Keep moving forward" is the theme. It conveys the belief that failure is commendable because you are trying. Just keep trying, don't quit or give up. Even if you failed in what you tried to do, it may lead to a great success in the future. If you don't make the attempt, you will never succeed.

My wife and I saw this movie when it was out at theater this year and we moved it. So when it came out on DVD we purchased it!

If you have not seen the movie it is great - it is fast paced with very few if any slow parts. It will hold a kids attention 0 after all it held mine and I had ADHD!.

The story was a great story in itself with a good message.

The DVD came with great bonus features including deleted sciences with commentary from the director as to why the scenes were deleted.

The DVD also came with 2 full length music videos ("Little Wonders" by Rob Thomas and "Kids of the Future" by Jonas Brothers -it sounded like a remake of an 80's hit called something like "Kids of America") which were awesome to watch.

The only thing I was disappointed in this DVD was the games that came with it - or should I say game. I expected a better game from Disney than a click on this photo to help build the Robinson's family tree. I was expecting something with the flying cars, chasing the villain, etc.

Overall, it is worth the price to purchase the item and fun to watch. A great DVD to have on had this holiday season to keep the kids entertained!

it's a great video except the dvd is scratched and it doesn't play well. i am going to take it to the local video store and try and see if they can fix it. otherwise it is great.

As a long time Disney fan I must admit that MEET THE ROBINSONS has quickly climbed to my top 5 favorite Disney movies. It's a heartwarming story about an orphan that FINALLY finds a family, or should I say the family finally finds him. Action packed, quick witted and very funny. This movie is for both Girls and Boys of ALL ages!! It's a permanent part of our Disney Masterpiece collection now : ) TWO THUMBS UP!!

This was a delightful disney movie, with lots of imagination and emotional connectivity. The story line flowed very well, and there was even a very thoughtful twist. Overall I feel that this was an excellent movie for all ages.

Typical Disney film, has a great story and flows very good throughout. Good graphics as well. Would recommend this movie to anyone with children.

This could be the best disney movie I have ever seen and disney makes many great movies! There is action, humor, love, music and so much more. Rob Thomas has a song in the end the does "wonders" for the movie.

I love animated movies..watched them way before I ever had children. This on eis definitely one of my favorites. Very creative, just a great movie all around. Bought it for my daughter (and me)--tired or renting it.

I PURCHASED IT FOR MY GRANDSON'S BIRTHDAY BECAUSE HE HAD SEEN IT SOME YEARS BACK AND WANTED TO ADD IT TO HIS COLLECTION AND HE WAS VERY GLAD TO HAVE IT.

Movie was great no scratches, good quality... good cheap price especially for a brand new dvd, it was open but I was still satasfied with it, shipped quickly fast and easy

I highly recommend this film for everyone in the family. The characters are heart felt, funny and innovative. The story is very touching. And who does not love futureistic themes? Along this merry little ride you understand the feeling of family. I would love to be one of the Robinsons.

I like how the movie start out in the present then, goes to the future. After he figures out whats going on, it motivates him in doing well at the science fair.

The story line of this movie is great. It is funny and engaging. There is action and a neat time-travel machine that my five-year old loved, while my husband and I loved the complicated and surprising plot lines. We definitely did not predict the ending of this movie! It is a nice family story that is interesting even after you have seen it several times.

When I saw the previews for this movie I didn't want to even see it let alone buy it. I rented it from a $1 kiosk at my local supermarket, my 4yo son and I watched it twice in a 24 hour period before taking it back. Meet the Robinson's is great for both Children and Adults alike. Even children as young as my son got the humor and enjoyed this movie. I think it is definitely worth renting if not buying.

The story line is about a 12yo boy that is a wonderful inventor, that lives in an orphanage. He has had many adoption interviews but none adopt him. The day of the Science Fair a kid from the future goes to him and warns him about a guy trying to sabotage his invention. Of course he does not listen and the machine is sabotaged. Then the 2 boys go to the Future to show the orphan what is possible. Then they go back to the past to fix everything.

I know it may not sound overly appealing, which is why I strayed away from it, but there is much more to it and lots of humor for children of all ages. I was cracking up. No bad language and nothing I would consider "Adult" humor or on the verge of racy or vulgar like a lot of theater movies are these days.

I am looking forward to getting this in the mail and watching it with or without my son. :) I hope this was helpful.

Me and my boyfriend can watch this movie over and over again. When his down this movie makes him feel better ;0)
