I like how the movie start out in the present then, goes to the future. After he figures out whats going on, it motivates him in doing well at the science fair.

The story line of this movie is great. It is funny and engaging. There is action and a neat time-travel machine that my five-year old loved, while my husband and I loved the complicated and surprising plot lines. We definitely did not predict the ending of this movie! It is a nice family story that is interesting even after you have seen it several times.

When I saw the previews for this movie I didn't want to even see it let alone buy it. I rented it from a $1 kiosk at my local supermarket, my 4yo son and I watched it twice in a 24 hour period before taking it back. Meet the Robinson's is great for both Children and Adults alike. Even children as young as my son got the humor and enjoyed this movie. I think it is definitely worth renting if not buying.

The story line is about a 12yo boy that is a wonderful inventor, that lives in an orphanage. He has had many adoption interviews but none adopt him. The day of the Science Fair a kid from the future goes to him and warns him about a guy trying to sabotage his invention. Of course he does not listen and the machine is sabotaged. Then the 2 boys go to the Future to show the orphan what is possible. Then they go back to the past to fix everything.

I know it may not sound overly appealing, which is why I strayed away from it, but there is much more to it and lots of humor for children of all ages. I was cracking up. No bad language and nothing I would consider "Adult" humor or on the verge of racy or vulgar like a lot of theater movies are these days.

I am looking forward to getting this in the mail and watching it with or without my son. :) I hope this was helpful.

Me and my boyfriend can watch this movie over and over again. When his down this movie makes him feel better ;0)

My son who is 9 loves this movie and so does his 14 year old sister. They saw it once and then begged for me to get it for them. They said it was funny and different then the other cartoon movies out there. They said it kind of reminded them of Toy Story, which was one of their favorite movies of all time.

i wanted to see this movie when it was at the cinema but never got around to it so i bought it on dvd and enjoyed watching it alot and i am sure you will to

This movie is so cute and great for the whole family! Got it at a great price. My daughter just adores it and it teaches a great lesson about family. I would recommend it to anyone with or without children.

Bought it for the kids, but enjoyed it just as much myself! The price was right and we will enjoy it for years to come.

I bought this dvd after a friend recommended it to me and lent me their copy. The animation is just below Pixar in quality, but still amazing and almost 3-D! Very funny characters, the villan is kinda a Jay Ward (Rocky and Bullwinkle) type character. (Think Snidely Whiplash) Really fun for both the kids and adults. The story follows an exceptional orphan who just wants a family as he gets caught up in time travel to the future. My wife (who is marginal on animated movies) found it quite funny- highly recommended!

The family enjoyed the movie and wanted to own our own copy. Meet the Rkobinsons is a great family movie.

I can't see why this wasn't a huge hit. It really has an interesting story line, with very clever plot. I really recommend this as a full family movie.

My son really liked this movie and it is a movie the whole family can enjoy watching together. It is a funny movie with a little moral about how the actions we take can effect those around us. A very cute movie. Highly recomend to kids of all ages.

Boasting the debut of cutting-edge 3D technology, MEET THE ROBINSONS is helmed by first-time feature-film director Stephen J. Anderson, who also voices numerous characters, including the mustachioed villain, Bowler Hat Guy. I don't normally buy DVDs, but my wife and I LOVED this when I rented it at blockbuster from an online trade-in. The story is fun, and the direction of the film and its point are worth checking into. Laughs, entertainment, and worthwhile, memorable morals.

I came across this movie for the first time by accident, and expected to see a cute but forgettable Disney animation. I was happily surprised to find a movie that is full of feeling for the difficulties and triumphs of childhood. It would be great for anyone who has an adopted child or for any adult who has ever experiences feelings of loss as a child. It has a very positive message but also doesn't ignore darker aspects of childhood such as anger and abandonment. If the last scene doesn't make you tear up you have a heart of stone. Highly recommended.

This cartoon has now officially become my most favorite! I was an only child of a single parent for the first 5 years of my life, and while I haven't changed the world with my inventions, I do have lots of ideas to make the world a happier place thru humor, and I feel that I can relate a lot to Luis. The music score with 'Little Wonders', is wonderfully remarkable. 'Keep moving forward'-has become my new inspiration; the past is behind us, we can't change it, we can only hope from our mistakes today-that we will make better decision tomorrow. My wife, our granddaughter, and myself saw it in the theater, and have watched it repeatedly together, since it first came out, and we were able to buy it.

This is a sweet, funny and touching movie. I was adopted, never knew my birth parents, but my "mom & dad" were enough for me. It touched my heart.

This is a very cute movie! My little boy loves it, and could watch it over and over! It also has a great message of looking toward the future instead of the past.

I have to start by saying I honestly really avoided this movie originally, from the previews I saw I really didn't seem much that really jumped out and grabbed me like some of the other Disney/Pixar films. Boy, was I wrong! From a Great story, wonderful animation, and a great cast I have to admit I was pleasntly suprised by how well this film was made and the care that went into making what turned out to be a very fun and engrossing story. I don't want to go into the story too much, other than to say the theme of the movie is to "keep Moving Foreward" and do not get lost in your past. And by the way, Tiny, the T-rex is my favorite part of the movie. Imaginative and fun, I give this movie 3 stars.
