This is a fantastic show for the entire family. It's equipped with lots of humor, romance, action, and suspense. Like a soap opera, but with meerkats. This show follows the real lives of a meerkat family called the Whiskers. It is narrated by actor Sean Astin. Meerkat Manor is definitely something worth checking out.

Hats off to the Discovery Chanel for a great movie/show. Once you start watching these cute animals and their adventures you are simply glued til the end. Can't wait until Season 4 (?), hoping there is one.

Meerkat Manor shows the daily lives of these wonderful creatures in the Sahara.
They are a wonderful community but with touches of death and jealousy and battles. You will become addicted and there are 2 or more seasons after this one.

I ordered a DVD for my husband for Valentine's day on February 6. When it didn't arrive I thought I would to give it to him for our anniversary on March 8. Still no DVD. I guess Father's day is the next holiday or maybe his Birthday on July 5. I have corresponded several times with CrazypricesDVD and they continue to promise that I should get it soon , but 5 weeks later still no DVD.

One big soap opera for cute, foot high little wild animals is how the premise of "Meerkat Manor" is set. The main family -- the Whiskers -- pulls you into the drama of surviving in the wild, and the producers and editors do an excellent job of personifying the little meerkats.

You'll cry, you'll laugh. You'll get pulled into their world. Recommended for all animal lovers.

I bought this DVD for my neice. She loves the show on TV. The animals are entertaining and they have a story to it. It is not just a bunch of animals playing. I could watch it for hours because it is so interesting. Great for the entire family.

My oldest grand daughter LOVES the Manor! Personally I think the show is endlessly boring because it is like "Scoobie Doo" Every episode of Scoobie there is a "supernatural" villian that always turns out to be someone motivated by money. Every episode of the Manor is also the same. They eat.
They Fight. They sleep. Who cares? They are rodents.

I don't personally watch this show but my daughter raves about it so we decided to get her season one as a christmas gift and she was so excited already only 1wk from xmas and she has watched the whole thing. From my daughters reviews I would give this show a A+++
