Mee-Shee: The Water Giant (DVD, 2006)

Jim Hensen's puppets are amazing in all the movies they do, but this one stands out as it reminds us all of the Lochness Monster, only this one is loveable. Love the movie, very appropriate for children, too.

Mee-Shee: The Water Giant may be about something but it is illegal as copied possible plus it does not have closed caption included. I received full refund though by paypal.

Fun family movie that children as young as mine, 3 1/2 and 4 1/2, and adults alike will enjoy. Fun story that has drama and some surprises, and a wonderful ending. So worth the price of the dvd! We rented it in the movie store first and my children all but demanded that we have our own copy :)...

I had seen this movie on tv and decided to buy it for the whole family to watch. It has a great story about the relationship between a father and his son, and the water giant is such a sweet monster that every one will love.
The location when the movie was shot was also nice. I liked everything about the movie and would not have changed any thing.

This is a Jim Henson must-have! Full of adventure, action, and very entertaining. Gotta love Mee-Shee!

Mee-Shee is a gentle giant from Jim Henson's creature shop. Kids thing they would be afraid of the movie at first because he is like a Loch-ness monster, but he really is just a mix of dinosaur and manatee.

My children love the idea of throwing fish into a large hole to feed a sea-creature, although I did explain to them going into a hole(like the kids do in the movie) is very dangerous, and that you should never sneak around a dangerous place where an adult doesnt know where you are, and wouldn't be able to find you if you get hurt.

I had first rented this movie and loved it so much we went online to find it. I purchased it from ebay REDTAG Market.

I would put it in a special place with movies like Labyrinth, and Princess Bride. May be a little old for toddlers, but age 4 and up would appreciate this lovely tale of Mee-shee: The Water Giant.
